This is a single METABOX D-series steel boxside from Blum, 22 inches (550mm) long and 5 inches tall, finished in Cream/White. It is the structural side member of the METABOX drawer platform, designed to pair with METABOX runners and system components to complete a working drawer.
The METABOX boxside replaces a wood drawer side entirely. The steel profile forms the structural wall and integrates with the METABOX runner so the drawer box and the slide work as one system. The shop supplies the drawer bottom and front; the steel side, back, and runner come from the METABOX program. This boxside is the 550mm nominal length, so it pairs with 550mm METABOX runners and matching backs — mixing nominal lengths within one drawer is not supported.
The profile is formed steel in a Cream/White finish. White is the standard METABOX interior color and coordinates with the runners, rear wall, and front fixings available in the same program. METABOX is a single-walled steel system — the profile presents one face inside the drawer — which is appropriate for the economy and mid-tier applications where METABOX is specified.
