Capella oil rubbed bronze pull out valet rod gives you a dedicated hanging point that slides out when needed and tucks away when not in use, helping organize garments right where work happens in the closet or storage area. As a pull out valet rod, it extends from its mounted position to hold clothing temporarily, which keeps outfits separated during staging, steaming, or transfer. The oil rubbed bronze finish defines the visual look of the hardware, so it can match other bronze-finished components in the same closet run. The valet rod belongs to the Shelf, Closet & Garage Organization category, aligning it with closet build-outs and storage projects where an extra hanging station streamlines workflow. Identified by manufacturer part PS-280-RZ, it gives installers a traceable, repeatable choice when matching specifications across multiple openings or future additions.
This side mount valet rod is designed to fasten to a vertical surface, so it integrates into side panels within shelf, closet, or garage organization layouts. The outside mount description signals that the body sits on the face of the panel, establishing a consistent reference plane with other surface-mounted components. With an 8.5 inch pull out length, installers can plan door swing, drawer travel, and walking clearance in front of the unit. The 1-3/4 inch width helps position the rod between partitions or next to gables without crowding adjacent hardware. Because the product is part of a dedicated valet rod class, it serves specifically as a temporary hanging point rather than a primary clothes rod, which clarifies its role in the overall layout.
The Capella Hardware PS-280-RZ valet rod is built for shelf, closet, and garage organization projects where a compact pull out hanging point improves handling of garments or gear. Its side mount layout means it fits naturally on the inside face of closet partitions or cabinet ends, supporting use near shelving, drawer banks, or laundry zones. The 8.5 inch pull out action provides working space in front of the cabinet run, which is useful when moving shirts, jackets, or uniforms between storage and dressing areas. Because the rod is classified under valet rods, it is intended for temporary staging, helping keep items visible and separated during outfit selection or steaming tasks. The oil rubbed bronze finish visually connects with other bronze-finished hardware, keeping the appearance consistent across a project when matching closet rods, pulls, or hooks from the same color family.
The 8.5 inch pull out length gives a fixed projection dimension, allowing designers to map how far items will extend into the room when the valet rod is in use. That dimension supports reliable planning around door faces, adjacent cabinetry, or nearby walls. The side mount, outside mount configuration establishes that the working components sit on the surface of a vertical panel, which simplifies layout because installers can reference front edges instead of recessed positions. The 1-3/4 inch width further defines the footprint, helping space multiple rods in series along a closet run without overlap. As a pull out valet rod, it moves from a stored to an extended position, which supports smoother workflow when transferring clothes to a central location for review or pressing. Identifying it by the PS-280-RZ part number keeps ordering and replacement consistent across multiple units or future expansions.
The Capella PS-280-RZ valet rod functions as a pull out hanging point, so garments can be staged temporarily during outfit selection, pressing, or transfer within closet and storage projects.
The 8.5 inch pull out length sets a known projection distance, helping plan clearance for doors, drawers, and walking space when the valet rod is extended with clothing hanging.
This side mount valet rod attaches to a vertical surface, so it fits well on closet side panels, cabinet ends, or similar structures in shelf, closet, and garage organization systems.
The oil rubbed bronze finish defines the color and style of the hardware, allowing coordination with other bronze-toned hinges, pulls, or fittings in the same installation.
The 1-3/4 inch width gives the footprint of the valet rod on the mounting surface, helping space it between partitions or near adjacent hardware without crowding.
This valet rod, part of the Shelf, Closet & Garage Organization category, serves as a temporary hanging station that supports staging and organizing items alongside fixed storage.
The Capella oil rubbed bronze pull out valet rod PS-280-RZ brings a defined 8.5 inch pull out action, side mount layout, and 1-3/4 inch width that all translate cleanly into closet planning.
