Liberty Hardware Southampton Pull 3" (76 mm) Center to Center, Bronze/Copper Highlights, P20383-VBC-C

Liberty Southampton Cabinet Pull For Cabinets And Drawers

Liberty Southampton cabinet pull is a zinc die cast handle from Liberty Hardware that provides a solid-feeling grip for cabinet doors and drawers, which supports confident operation in everyday use. The bronze finish with copper highlights creates a two-tone look that visually breaks up flat faces, helping installers and clients match traditional or transitional room hardware. The 3 inch center to center mounting dimension sets consistent spacing for the handhold, which helps align this pull with common drilling patterns on many cabinet layouts. Overall length of 3-3/4 inches keeps the pull visually proportional to standard cabinet fronts, which supports a balanced appearance on doors and medium-width drawers. A projection of 1-1/8 inches brings the pull away from the surface enough for fingers to wrap behind the bar, which can reduce fumbling when opening. A width of 3/4 inch gives the front face enough area for a comfortable grip and a finished look on installation.

Key Liberty Hardware Pull Details For Projects

• The zinc die cast material creates a rigid cabinet pull body that maintains its shape under normal opening forces, which supports long-term alignment with your drilled hole pattern.
• The bronze finish with copper highlights adds a defined contrast line along edges, which helps the pull stand out visually against many painted or stained cabinet surfaces.
• The 3 inch center to center dimension standardizes hole spacing on doors and drawers, which simplifies layout when repeating this pull across a full kitchen or bath run.
• The 3-3/4 inch overall length keeps the pull compact, which works well on narrower doors or drawer fronts where longer handles might crowd adjacent fronts.
• The 1-1/8 inch projection provides clearance between the pull and cabinet face, which helps fingers get behind the pull without contacting the door or drawer edge.
• The 3/4 inch width gives the front of the pull a substantial feel, which can make the grip more comfortable for repeated use throughout the day.
• The 8-32 screw size specification aligns with common cabinet hardware threads, which supports straightforward fastening into standard cabinet door and drawer fronts.

Mounting Details For This 3 Inch Center Pull

This Liberty Hardware pull uses a 3 inch center to center mounting layout, which anchors the handle through two points for stability on doors and drawers. That fixed spacing helps installers use jigs or templates designed around 3 inch hole patterns, reducing layout time across multiple fronts. The pull length of 3-3/4 inches leaves a small margin beyond the mounting points, which keeps the mounting stress close to the ends and supports a solid feel when the pull is used. With a projection of 1-1/8 inches, the handle stands off the cabinet face just enough for most fingers to clear the door edge, which can help reduce wear marks around the hardware area. The 8-32 screw size callout matches a widely used machine thread, which helps the pull seat firmly against the surface when fastened through typical cabinet materials.

Using This Southampton Series Pull In Real Projects

Where This Liberty Hardware Pull Fits Best

The Liberty Southampton series cabinet pull, identified as P20383-VBC-C, is part of the decorative hardware and moldings category for handles and pulls, which positions it as a visible front-facing component on cabinets and casework. Its 3 inch center to center spacing aligns with many residential cabinet layouts, which suits it for kitchens, baths, and built-ins that follow common drilling standards. The bronze with copper highlights finish supports use in rooms that already feature warm metal tones, since the highlighted edges can echo knob and hinge finishes. The compact 3-3/4 inch length allows this pull to fit well on narrower drawer fronts or smaller doors, which can help maintain consistent hardware style across both base and wall cabinets. With a width of 3/4 inch and projection of 1-1/8 inches, the pull offers a grip that works on frequently used doors and drawers without dominating the front visually.

Why These Dimensions Support Consistent Results

The 3 inch center to center measurement is a key dimension for repeatable results, because it dictates drilling locations and alignment across an entire run of cabinets. Using that fixed spacing, installers can rely on existing jigs or shop-made templates, which tends to keep hardware runs straight when working job to job. The 3-3/4 inch overall length creates just enough overhang past the mounting holes to frame the grip area, which can visually align multiple pulls even when door sizes change. The 1-1/8 inch projection affects hand clearance, and this distance gives users space to hook fingers behind the pull without pinching against the door face. The 3/4 inch width provides enough surface for a stable grasp while still reading as a refined decorative pull, which balances function with the decorative hardware role. The zinc die cast construction supports this dimensional accuracy during production, which helps matching pulls line up closely when installed side by side. The bronze with copper highlights finish visually emphasizes the pull edges, which can hide minor alignment variances by drawing the eye to the consistent trim line.
