SEIZE RECESS PULL 160MM POLISHED CHROME Use

SEIZE RECESS PULL 160MM POLISHED CHROME is a Berenson Seize Series cabinet pull designed to give doors and drawers a defined gripping area in a recessed profile, which supports clean cabinet faces while still allowing a solid handhold. The pull is made from zinc die cast, so the body provides a consistent, rigid feel during everyday operation on frequently used fronts. A polished chrome finish on this pull creates a bright, reflective surface that visually matches other polished chrome decorative hardware in a project, so fronts and pulls stay coordinated across a run. The pull has a 6-5/16 inch (160 mm) center to center mounting span, which sets the hole pattern for drilling and keeps alignment predictable from piece to piece. Overall length of 7-1/16 inches gives coverage beyond the hole centers, which helps visually balance wider drawer fronts or doors without overwhelming narrow faces.

Key Seize Recess Pull Details For Projects

• The Seize collection identity ties this pull to the broader Berenson Seize Series, which helps installers keep a consistent design language when combining different sizes or styles from the same family on a single job.
• Zinc die cast material forms the core of this pull, providing a solid, uniform body that feels stable in hand and resists flexing when mounted to cabinet doors and drawer fronts that see repeated use.
• Polished chrome finish on the pull surface delivers a bright, mirror-like look that coordinates with other polished chrome components on cabinetry, supporting cohesive visual lines across kitchens, baths, and built-ins.
• The 6-5/16 inch (160 mm) center to center dimension sets the fixed distance between mounting points, guiding drill layout and making it straightforward to repeat hole locations across multiple doors and drawers.
• An overall length of 7-1/16 inches extends beyond the mounting holes, which provides a clear grip area and helps the pull visually span wider faces for a balanced appearance on cabinet runs.
• A projection of 7/8 inch determines how far the pull sits off the front, offering finger clearance during operation while keeping the profile relatively low for tight walkways or close cabinetry.
• The 2 inch width of the pull defines the front face coverage, helping installers plan spacing between adjacent pulls and align hardware proportions with stile or rail dimensions on each cabinet front.

Mounting And Fit Dimensions For This Pull

This Berenson Seize Series pull uses a 6-5/16 inch (160 mm) center to center layout, so mounting holes align on that span for both new installations and replacements using the same pattern. The overall length of 7-1/16 inches gives a reference for how much linear space the pull occupies on a drawer or door, helping with placement relative to panel edges and neighboring hardware. A projection of 7/8 inch sets the stand-off from the surface, which defines the working finger space for gripping the recessed area in normal cabinet use. The pull width of 2 inches guides horizontal or vertical spacing from adjacent fronts, trim, or other hardware, keeping faces from feeling crowded. The specified screw size is 45mm, which relates to the pull thickness and typical cabinet material thickness so threads fully engage the zinc die cast body.

Working With This Berenson Seize Recessed Pull

Recessed Pull Size And Cabinet Applications

The Seize Series 6-5/16 inch center to center polished chrome pull is sized to suit standard cabinet doors and drawers where a defined grip and linear look are desired. With a 7-1/16 inch overall length, this pull spans a useful section of the front, so it works on both base cabinets and wall cabinets without appearing undersized. The 2 inch width creates a noticeable face on the door or drawer, which helps users locate the grip point quickly, especially on larger panels. Because the pull has a projection of 7/8 inch, the gripping zone stays close to the cabinet surface yet provides enough depth for fingers to engage the recessed area comfortably. The polished chrome finish ties into polished chrome decorative hardware and moldings, supporting continuity on projects that already specify this finish across hinges, knobs, or other pulls.

Dimensions, Fastening, And Repeatable Alignment

The 160 mm (6-5/16 inch) center to center dimension on this Berenson Corporation pull dictates the exact drilling pattern, which allows installers to layout rows of pulls with uniform spacing and straight visual lines along drawers or doors. A total length of 7-1/16 inches gives an easy tape reference when positioning the pull relative to cabinet edges, which helps during both new construction and retrofit work. The 7/8 inch projection defines how far the zinc die cast body stands off the surface, so the pull sits low enough to reduce snag points while still giving a defined handhold. A 2 inch width offers a broad contact area on the cabinet face, which spreads force over more surface and contributes to a solid feel when opening heavier drawers. The screw size of 45mm aligns with typical cabinet thicknesses so the fasteners engage the pull body securely, supporting long-term use on frequently opened fronts.
