An inset door sits inside the cabinet opening rather than covering the face, held in place by a small, even gap on all four edges. That look depends entirely on precise fitting and a hinge geometry that keeps the door centered in its opening as it swings. This hinge carries the full-crank inset arm that places the door flush within the frame. The 35mm cup bores into the back of the door, and the arm clips to a matching Blum base plate on the cabinet, which is ordered separately. INSERTA mounting drops the plate straight into pre-drilled 5mm system holes, eliminating plate screws and keeping the install clean on production and repeat runs. For a cabinet box without 5mm system holes, use the screw-on plate variant instead.

No. The hinge arm clips to a Blum base plate that mounts to the cabinet, and the plate is a separate purchase. Select a Blum plate matched to your cabinet construction and the inset position you need. Plates are brand-specific and not interchangeable with other manufacturers.
INSERTA plates press into pre-drilled 5mm system holes in the cabinet side, so no plate screws are needed. If your cabinet box does not have 5mm system holes, use the screw-on plate version of this hinge instead.
This hinge is concealed when the door is closed, so the finish is not visible in normal use. If the hinges will be seen on open doors or glass-front cabinets, nickel coordinates naturally with brushed stainless, chrome, and other cool-tone metals.
