Hickory Hardware Luna Pull, 3" & 3-1/4" Center to Center, Matte Black, P3447-MB

Luna Series Zinc Matte Black Pull For Cabinets

Luna Series zinc matte black pull is a decorative handle from the Luna collection by Hickory Hardware, giving cabinets and drawers a circular, moon-inspired look that suits both multipurpose rooms and chests of drawers in a playroom. The pull is part of the Luna collection, so the curved profile supports creative design layouts where repeating arcs or soft lines are important to the finished job. The handle is made from zinc, which provides a solid metal construction that feels substantial in hand when opening and closing doors or drawers many times a day. Its matte black finish keeps reflections down, which helps the pull visually recede against darker fronts while still reading cleanly on lighter surfaces. A center-to-center range of 3 inch to 3-1/4 inch gives layout flexibility when aligning with existing boring patterns or planning new drilling on cabinetry.

Key Luna Collection Details For Cabinet Projects

• The pull belongs to the Luna collection, so its circular curves imitate the shape of the moon and support design schemes that favor soft arcs across cabinet runs.
• The handle is made from zinc, giving a metal base that offers a firm, durable grip for repeated opening and closing of doors and drawers.
• The matte black finish on the pull creates a low-sheen look that coordinates easily with modern cabinet fronts and hides fingerprints better than high-gloss finishes.
• The pull length of 4 inch provides enough hand clearance across typical drawer fronts while keeping the hardware visually balanced on smaller faces.
• The projection of 1 inch stands the pull off the surface, giving fingers room to hook behind the bar without contacting the door or drawer face.
• The 7/16 inch width offers a slim profile, which helps maintain a refined appearance while still presenting enough surface area for a comfortable grasp.

Installation Fit Using 3 Inch To 3-1/4 Inch Centers

The pull provides a center-to-center range of 3 inch to 3-1/4 inch, which lets it match common cabinet boring patterns during replacements or new layouts. This spread simplifies aligning hardware across a bank of drawers where hole spacing may vary slightly from section to section. A projection of 1 inch works well on doors and drawers that sit close to adjacent obstacles, because it brings the hand out just far enough for comfortable use without snagging on nearby faces. The 4 inch overall length helps this handle sit proportionally on both narrow and mid-width drawer fronts, keeping lines consistent when several pulls are used in a row. With a slim 7/16 inch width, installers can maintain tight visual reveals between fronts while still giving users a defined grip edge.

Using The Luna Pull In Real Cabinet Work

Luna Cabinet Handle Across Rooms And Furniture

The Luna collection by Hickory Hardware inspires this pull with the nocturnal beauty of the moon, so its circular curves work well in rooms where designers want soft, flowing hardware lines. When used on drawers of a multipurpose room, the 4 inch length gives enough presence across utility cabinets without overpowering the face. On a chest of drawers in a playroom, the 1 inch projection and 7/16 inch width create a compact profile that children and adults can grasp easily, helping the hardware stay practical while still echoing the moon-like design. The matte black finish lets this pull sit comfortably against painted or laminated fronts, so it can tie together dark casework with lighter drawer faces within the same space. Because it is part of the Luna collection, the handle can be repeated across different pieces in the room to maintain a consistent, rounded theme from cabinet to cabinet.

Dimensions And Finish That Support Consistent Results

The 3 inch to 3-1/4 inch center-to-center dimension gives room to adapt during layout, which is useful when lining up pulls across existing cabinetry where hole spacing might not be perfectly uniform. This range also supports new installations that use either 3 inch or 96 mm boring patterns, helping one pull cover both measurement standards in a project. The 4 inch overall length and 1 inch projection simplify planning for reveals, since installers can expect a predictable span and stand-off on every door and drawer front. With a slim 7/16 inch width, the handle keeps to a narrow footprint, supporting tight drawer spacing while still creating a readable design line. The matte black finish works into both modern and transitional schemes, giving a neutral, low-glare surface that complements other cabinet hardware and moldings in the same area.
