Schwinn 3914 L-Channel 114-3/16" (2900 mm) Long, Anodized Aluminum, 59244

A Nine-and-a-Half-Foot Aluminum L-Channel for Handleless Cabinetry

The Schwinn 3914 is an aluminum L-channel profile that creates a continuous handleless grip along a cabinet run. Supplied in a 114-3/16 inch (2900 mm) stock length, it is cut on-site to the width of the installation and finished in an anodized aluminum surface treatment.

Key Features

• Aluminum construction with an Anodized Aluminum finish for a consistent, low-sheen appearance.
• L-channel cross-section forms a continuous recessed grip along the upper edge of a door or drawer front.
• 2-1/4 inch (57 mm) face width creates a broad grip zone suited to wide fronts and appliance panels.
• 5/16 inch (8 mm) projection keeps the profile shallow and the grip close to the face of the front.
• 114-3/16 inch (2900 mm) stock length accommodates wide single-run installations and reduces the number of joints on long runs.
• Contemporary design style complements frameless and slab-door cabinetry programs.

How the L-Channel Works in a Handleless Run

An L-channel is named for the letter its cross-section resembles: two planes meeting at an angle, creating a recess that the hand reaches into to open the door or drawer. Unlike a conventional pull, the profile runs the full width of the front rather than sitting at two fixed points, which removes the need to align hardware to a drilling pattern and distributes the grip across the entire face. At 2-1/4 inches wide with a 5/16 inch projection, this is a broad, shallow section. The grip runs across a wide face rather than inside a deep, narrow channel, which suits both base cabinet doors and tall drawer fronts where a full-width approach reads better than a centered pull.

Material and Finish

The profile is aluminum, the material that lets a continuous section of this length hold its geometry without flexing noticeably along the run. The Anodized Aluminum finish is an electrochemical treatment that becomes part of the metal surface rather than sitting on top of it as a coating. The result is a clear, low-sheen metallic appearance that belongs to the Silver Tone color family and is consistent along the full stock length. The profile is part of the Schwinn 3914 series, and its caps, corners, and connectors are specified within that same series.

Who This Profile Suits

Cabinet shops and installers specifying a handleless kitchen or built-in with a contemporary slab-door program will find this profile a direct fit. The 114-3/16 inch stock length is the longest in the Schwinn range here, which makes it the practical choice for wide single-run base or wall installations where a shorter profile would require a joint. Designers working with a Silver Tone or natural aluminum palette can carry the anodized finish across multiple cabinet zones without a visible color break. Caps, corners, and connectors for the L-channel system are separate items specific to the 3914 series and are ordered alongside this profile to complete the installation.
