This is the 18 inch Grass Dynapro soft-close full-extension undermount drawer slide — a concealed roller-bearing runner in a zinc finish, rated 88 lb per pair, built for frameless cabinets.
The Dynapro is the right call when the drawer needs to open completely and close quietly. Full extension means the whole box travels to the cabinet face — every inch of the drawer is reachable, whether that is a spice drawer, a utensil tray, or a base cabinet pull-out. The integrated soft-close eliminates the slam and the rattle on busy kitchens, making it a practical fit for residential and light commercial cabinetry alike. Because this version is configured for frameless construction, it screws directly to the cabinet side panel without rear mounting brackets, which keeps installation straightforward on production runs.
The 88 lb per-pair rating covers most standard kitchen and bath drawer loads. For drawers that push above that threshold, step up to a higher-capacity undermount in the line.
The Dynapro runner is built from steel with a zinc finish that holds up through years of indoor service. The roller-bearing carriage runs quietly under load and keeps travel consistent as the drawer cycles. Because the slide mounts beneath the box, the finish is functional rather than decorative — the hardware stays concealed when the drawer is open, leaving only the wood of the box visible from inside the cabinet.
This 18 inch Dynapro is a strong match for production cabinet shops building frameless kitchens and bath cabinetry in standard depths, as well as designers and contractors specifying a soft-close concealed runner for residential renovation work. Homeowners replacing slides on frameless European-style cabinets will find the fit straightforward, provided the drawer box is built to the Grass Dynapro specification. The 18 inch nominal length suits cabinet interiors with at least 15-7/8 inches of installation depth — confirm that measurement before ordering to avoid a fit issue at installation.
No. This version is designed for frameless cabinets, where the slide fastens directly to the flat interior side panel. Face-frame installations require a different configuration with series-specific rear mounting brackets.
The Dynapro is engineered for drawer sides in the 1/2 to 5/8 inch (12.7 to 16mm) range. The drawer box must be built to the Grass Dynapro specification — including the correct box width, bottom recess, and rear notch — before it will seat properly on the runners.
Dynapro front locking devices are series-specific accessories. Confirm whether locking devices are included with this SKU or need to be ordered separately before completing the installation kit.
Per pair, which is the standard basis for undermount slide ratings in this category. A fully loaded kitchen drawer well under 88 lb total is comfortably within spec.
This SKU is the frameless version. For face-frame cabinets, look for the face-frame configuration of the Dynapro line, which includes the appropriate rear mounting bracket support.
Match the 18 inch Dynapro to a properly built drawer box, confirm your cabinet depth clears 15-7/8 inches, and the drawer will open completely and close without a sound for the life of the installation.
