Zinc Undermount Drawer Slide for Frameless Cabinetry

This is Grass's Dynapro 22 inch soft-close undermount drawer slide — a concealed, full-extension runner finished in zinc, rated 88 lb per pair, and sized for frameless cabinet installations. It brings the complete drawer out to the cabinet face and settles it shut silently on an integrated soft-close damper.

Key Features

• Full extension carries the entire drawer box out to the cabinet face, putting the back of the drawer within easy reach.
• Integrated soft-close catches the drawer near the end of travel and settles it shut with no slam, no rebound.
• 88 lb capacity per pair handles loaded kitchen and bath drawers with room to spare.
• Roller-bearing carriage on zinc-finished steel delivers smooth, quiet travel through years of daily cycling.
• Frameless-cabinet mounting screws directly to the flat interior side panel, no rear brackets required.
• 21-27/32 inch minimum installation depth fits standard frameless base and drawer cabinets at this slide length.

Where This Slide Fits

At 22 inches, this Dynapro runner suits the deeper base cabinets common in contemporary kitchens — pots-and-pans drawers, cutlery and utensil drawers, and oversized storage drawers where the extra length over a standard 21 inch slide keeps the box proportional to the cabinet. The full-extension travel means nothing hides at the back: spices, lids, and bulkier items stay visible and reachable. The soft-close close is the right call anywhere that cabinet noise matters — open-plan kitchens, shared workspaces, or any project where the client specifically requests damped hardware. Because the mounting is frameless-direct, this slide is at home in production runs of European-style face-free cabinets on the 32mm system.

Construction and Finish

Steel members run on a roller-bearing carriage for a pull that stays smooth under load without the tighter tolerances of a ball-bearing system. The zinc finish protects the steel through years of indoor service; because the slide is fully concealed beneath the drawer box, the finish is functional rather than decorative. The 22 inch nominal length is the closed dimension — build the drawer box to Grass's published specification for this series, including the correct box width for the side clearance, bottom recess, rear notch, and front locking-device drilling. Front locking devices are series-specific Dynapro accessories; confirm whether they are included with this SKU or need to be ordered separately before the job runs.

Who Orders This Slide

Production cabinet shops running frameless lines will find this length fills the gap between the standard 21 inch undermount and longer pantry-depth slides, giving flexibility on deeper drawer stacks without switching slide families. Designers specifying a full Dynapro installation can keep the same runner series across multiple drawer lengths. Custom builders and contractors working on kitchen renovations where the client wants concealed hardware and quiet closing will cover both requirements in one SKU. The 88 lb per pair rating is sized for realistic kitchen drawer loads — a full set of pots and pans, a dense block of cutlery, or a deep pantry drawer stocked with canned goods.

The Right Length for Deeper Frameless Drawers

The Grass Dynapro 22 inch soft-close undermount pairs full-extension access and quiet damped closing in a concealed runner built for frameless cabinetry — a direct fit for contemporary kitchens and production shops running deeper drawer boxes.
