Grass Nova Pro Scala Drawer Member for Clean-Look Cabinetry in Ice

This is the 16 inch (400mm) H90 drawer member set from Grass America's Nova Pro Scala system, finished in Ice for kitchens and custom casework where the interior color carries as much weight as the hardware performance. The set delivers full-extension travel and soft-close damping, rated at 154 lb capacity, and is sized for a 3-1/2 inch side height.

Key Features

• Ice finish integrates cleanly into white and cool-tone cabinet interiors without the warmth of a silver or champagne tone.
• 154 lb weight capacity supports heavily loaded kitchen and pantry drawers with confidence.
• Full extension brings the entire drawer out to the cabinet face so nothing hides at the back.
• Integrated soft-close settles the drawer to a quiet, controlled close on every use.
• 3-1/2 inch (H90) side height suits standard kitchen and bath drawer depths without towering over the interior.
• 16 inch (400mm) nominal length fits shallow cabinet runs — a size common in base cabinet corners and smaller bath vanities.

Where This Drawer Member Fits the Job

The 16 inch nominal length targets shallower cabinets: a small spice drawer bank, a narrow bath vanity, or a corner base unit where a longer system would overcrowd the box. Full extension means the entire drawer contents are accessible without reaching blind into the back — a practical advantage in a cramped cabinet run. At 154 lb capacity, the set handles a drawer stacked with canned goods, cast iron, or dense shop supplies without straining the runners. The Nova Pro Scala system is designed for face-frame and frameless installation; in face-frame work, confirm that rear mounting brackets for this series are included in your order, as they are sold separately.

Ice Finish in Context

Ice is a bright, neutral white with a cool undertone — closer to a clean optical white than to the warmer or grayed tones in the Nova Pro Scala finish family. In a painted white or light-laminate kitchen, Ice reads as an intentional match rather than a near-miss. The finish also coordinates with Grass's Tavinea Optima interior organization accessories, which are available in finishes including Ice, so divider rails and rail holders can carry the same color through the drawer interior. The drawer member's steel construction carries that finish durably through daily kitchen use.

Who Builds With This Set

Cabinet shops running production kitchens in white or off-white often specify Ice across every drawer in the project so the interior color is consistent whether the door is open or closed. Kitchen designers working on handleless or minimalist fronts value the clean interior presentation Ice provides alongside a push-to-open or Sensomatic opening system. Contractors replacing damaged drawer members in an existing Nova Pro Scala installation in Ice will find this the direct replacement. The 16 inch nominal length is a specific ordering dimension — confirm your cabinet depth accommodates the system before placing a volume order.

Consistent Color, High-Capacity Performance

When the interior of the cabinet is part of the design — not just a functional void behind the door — Ice gives Nova Pro Scala's proven full-extension, soft-close platform the finish to match. Specify it alongside Tavinea Optima accessories in Ice and the drawer interior is a complete, coordinated system from runner to divider rail.
