The Nova Pro Scala P904 cabinet member set is a 24 inch (600mm) soft-close runner component for the Grass Nova Pro Scala drawer system, sold in bulk quantity for shops running multiple drawers at once. It is the cabinet-side half of the Nova Pro Scala running pair, finished in Metallic and rated for full-extension travel with integrated soft-close damping.
In the Nova Pro Scala system, the cabinet member mounts to the cabinet box and carries the drawer member, which attaches to the drawer box itself. This SKU is the cabinet-side component. To complete a working drawer, pair it with the corresponding Nova Pro Scala drawer members and the appropriate front fixing brackets for the side height and front style in use. If the installation is in a face-frame cabinet, rear mounting brackets are also required and sold separately — they are specific to the Nova Pro Scala system and do not interchange with other Grass series or other brands.
At 600mm nominal length, the cabinet member suits cabinets with adequate depth to accept a full 24 inch system run. Confirm cabinet interior depth against the Nova Pro Scala installation specification before ordering.
The soft-close function on Nova Pro Scala runners is damped, not a self-closing ramp — the drawer decelerates into the closed position rather than being pulled shut by spring tension. This distinction matters in production work where the closing feel is part of the finished product. The Metallic finish on this cabinet member is a standard Nova Pro Scala offering; it pairs with the Nova Pro Scala side profiles and drawer members in the same color family. Tavinea Optima interior organization components for Nova Pro Scala are also available in coordinating finishes if the project calls for an integrated interior.
The bulk pack format is aimed at cabinet shops, millwork operations, and contractors running Nova Pro Scala across multiple cabinets in one project or across ongoing production. Buying the cabinet member in bulk aligns with the way shops actually consume drawer system components — by the project run rather than one drawer at a time. The 88 lb capacity and full-extension travel make this member appropriate for kitchen base drawers, bath vanity drawers, and shop storage builds where full access and load capacity are primary selection criteria. Homeowners sourcing a single replacement cabinet member will find the same part here; the specification is identical regardless of the quantity ordered.
This is the cabinet member only — the half that mounts inside the cabinet box. A complete Nova Pro Scala drawer requires the matching drawer members attached to the drawer box, plus front fixing brackets and, for face-frame cabinets, rear mounting brackets. All of these components are Nova Pro Scala-specific.
Nova Pro Scala is a side-mount drawer system, not an undermount. The soft-close damping is integrated into the Nova Pro Scala runner and is specific to this system. It is not interchangeable with Grass Dynapro, Elite Plus, or Maxcess undermount components.
Yes, but face-frame installations require Nova Pro Scala rear mounting brackets to position the cabinet member correctly. Those brackets are sold separately and are matched to the Nova Pro Scala system — generic rear brackets will not work.
Front fixing brackets for Nova Pro Scala are selected based on the drawer side height and the front style in use. The brackets are Nova Pro Scala-specific; confirm the side height code before ordering the front fixings.
Yes. Tavinea Optima is Grass's dividing and organization system developed for Nova Pro Scala drawers. Select the divider rail holders and rail lengths that match your drawer's interior dimensions.
With the 88 lb rated, full-extension Nova Pro Scala cabinet member in bulk, production shops can stage an entire project's drawer hardware at once — consistent specs, consistent soft-close feel, and one less variable on the install day.
