This Pro Value pedestal foot is a left-hand decorative wood foot designed to finish the exposed end of a cabinet base, vanity, or furniture-style piece in cherry.
The curved profile on this foot is the detail that places it in a traditional or furniture-style program rather than a clean-line contemporary one. The arc softens the junction between the cabinet base and the floor, creating a foot that looks shaped and intentional rather than simply blocked. At the left end of an island base, a bath vanity, or a freestanding cabinet run, that curve faces outward where it shows — which is exactly why this piece is handed rather than symmetrical. A straight-edged foot would work in either position; this one is built for one.
At 1 inch deep and 6 inches wide, this is a shallow applied piece. It presents a 6 inch face at the base of the cabinet while projecting only an inch from the surface it mounts to, keeping the footprint tight and avoiding conflict with toe kick depth or flooring clearance. The species is cherry, supplied unfinished. Cherry is a fine-grained hardwood with a consistent face that takes stain cleanly, which is one reason it appears consistently in cabinetry programs alongside this foot family. Finishing the foot on site, in the same pass as the surrounding cabinet components, is the most reliable way to bring it into visual alignment with the rest of the piece.
Cabinet shops building furniture-style bases, designers specifying traditional vanity programs, and contractors retrofitting exposed cabinet ends will all find this foot useful in the same situation: a left-side base end that needs a finished profile and a species-matched wood substrate to work from. It is a decorative applied piece with no rated load capacity. For a base with both ends exposed, the right-hand version is a separate item.
The curved edge is directional. On a left-hand foot, the curve is oriented to face outward at the left end of the base. Mounting it at the right end reverses the arc, and the profile looks wrong. The right-hand version is ordered separately and the two are not interchangeable.
One of this item for the left end and one of the right-hand version for the right end. They are separate SKUs.
An applied piece. It is 1 inch deep and 6 inches wide, so it sits flat against the cabinet surface rather than standing as a freestanding block under a corner.
It is unfinished cherry, so it accepts stain on site. Exact color matching to existing cabinetry depends on the finish system, application, and the individual piece of wood, and cannot be guaranteed.
Choose this foot when the left side of a furniture-style base needs a curved, species-matched profile that finishes the run and reads as part of a designed piece.
