This 14-inch LEGRABOX C Height complete drawer system from Blum brings a 177mm (7 inch) steel side profile, integrated BLUMOTION soft-close, and full-extension travel to deep storage drawers — all finished in Orion Gray Matte for a coordinated look inside premium cabinetry.
The C Height profile is the choice when drawer contents are tall. A pot drawer holding Dutch ovens and stockpots, a pantry pull-out carrying dry goods stacked two rows high, or a utility cabinet drawer organizing power tools — these are the applications where a low or mid-height profile leaves wasted space above the contents and the C Height fills it purposefully. At 14 inches nominal length (350mm), this system suits cabinet depths common in base kitchen cabinetry and islands. Full extension means you are not reaching into the dark to find what is at the back; the drawer comes fully to the face and everything is reachable.
The double-walled steel sides replace a wood drawer box entirely — the profile is the structure, not a liner over a wood box. Orion Gray Matte is Blum's coordinating interior finish for LEGRABOX, designed to pair with the AMBIA-LINE organization program so dividers, trays, and inserts look factory-fitted rather than added on. The finish runs consistently across the visible interior surfaces, which matters in open-plan kitchens where drawer interiors are seen when drawers are open. BLUMOTION damping adapts automatically to the drawer load, so the same runner that closes gently with a nearly empty box also handles a box loaded to its rated capacity without slamming.
Production cabinet shops building frameless kitchens will find this system drops into a 32mm-grid workflow cleanly. Kitchen designers specifying high-use, handle-less kitchens benefit from the BLUMOTION integration — no separate damper to source or install, and the soft-close performance holds across the life of the installation. Homeowners renovating a kitchen who want to match an existing LEGRABOX installation can specify this system by side height and nominal length and be confident the new drawers align with the platform already in the cabinet. The Orion Gray Matte finish is a fixed attribute of this SKU; for the same system in Silk White Matte or Stainless Steel, those are separate variants in this family.
The LEGRABOX system includes the steel side profiles, integrated runners with BLUMOTION, and the back. You cut and supply the drawer front and the bottom panel to Blum's published dimensions for this nominal length and side height. Front fixing brackets for attaching the drawer front are a separate accessory matched to the C Height profile.
The listed 125 lb capacity is the static rating for the standard LEGRABOX series. Confirm the dynamic rating with Blum's published load data for this series before specifying for continuously high-cycle applications.
Yes. AMBIA-LINE is Blum's interior organization line developed for LEGRABOX drawers. Dividers, trays, and inserts in Orion Gray Matte are made to fit inside this platform's side profiles. Confirm the nominal length and side height of each AMBIA-LINE component against this system's 350mm length and C Height before ordering.
LEGRABOX is primarily engineered for frameless (32mm-grid) cabinetry. Face-frame installation is possible with the appropriate rear mounting brackets and face-frame adaptors, which are sold separately and are system-specific. Verify the required accessory set for your face-frame depth before ordering.
Yes. Blum's TIP-ON BLUMOTION is the combined push-to-open and soft-close unit that replaces the standard BLUMOTION runner in this system, delivering both functions from one integrated mechanism. Plain mechanical push-to-open and soft-close do not combine on standard runners — TIP-ON BLUMOTION is the correct product when you need both.
When the application calls for a tall-sided drawer that closes softly, holds a real load, and looks intentional inside a finished kitchen, this 14-inch LEGRABOX C Height system in Orion Gray Matte is the platform to specify.
