This 20 inch LEGRABOX N Height drawer system pairs Blum's engineered steel platform with an Orion Gray Matte finish that integrates naturally into contemporary and transitional cabinet interiors. At 66.5mm (2-5/8 inches) tall, the N Height side profile sits low enough for shallow utility drawers and slim inner drawers while still offering full-extension travel and BLUMOTION soft-close as part of the system.
The N Height profile is the right choice when vertical space inside the cabinet is limited or when a second drawer must fit beneath a taller pot or pan drawer in the same stack. Its 66.5mm side height suits cutlery and flatware drawers, shallow spice drawers, and inner drawer configurations where clearance to the drawer above is tight. The 20 inch (500mm) nominal length is a common fit for standard 24-inch-deep base cabinets, leaving the builder's cutting formula to set the final drawer box dimensions. With BLUMOTION built into the runner, there is no separate damper clip to source or install.
The Orion Gray Matte finish is the same tone carried across the LEGRABOX accessory and interior organization programs, so gallery rails, cover caps, and AMBIA-LINE inserts ordered in the same finish arrive as a coordinated set rather than a patchwork of close-but-not-matching tones. The steel side profiles are double-walled, concealing fasteners and presenting a clean face inside and out. LEGRABOX is the platform rated at 125 lb static capacity on its standard series; this N Height set sits within that rating. Front fixings, AMBIA-LINE dividers and inserts, and any gallery railing for this system are sold separately and must be specified for LEGRABOX — components from other Blum drawer platforms do not interchange.
Cabinet shops producing handle-less contemporary kitchens reach for the Orion Gray Matte finish when the door fronts are a dark or neutral tone and a white or stainless system interior would read as a mismatch. Designers specifying integrated appliance panels and matte black or graphite pulls often include this system to carry the finish language through to the open drawer. The N Height profile also appears frequently in renovation work where a shallow inner drawer is being added to an existing stack and the builder needs a slim, rated system rather than an economy economy slide with a wood box.
BLUMOTION is integrated into the LEGRABOX runner — no separate clip or add-on part is needed. The damping is active when the system arrives.
N Height sets the side profile at 66.5mm (2-5/8 inches) tall — the slimmest LEGRABOX option for installations where vertical clearance is limited, such as inner drawers or cutlery layers beneath taller drawers. If the drawer needs to hold taller contents or you want a higher side wall, a taller LEGRABOX height code is the right step up.
No. This set includes the side profiles and integrated BLUMOTION runner for one drawer. Front fixing brackets, AMBIA-LINE organization inserts, gallery rails, and cover caps are ordered separately — all must be specified for LEGRABOX and in the matching Orion Gray Matte finish.
The runner and front fixing system are engineered per height code, so components from different height codes do not interchange within the same drawer. Order all components — sides, runner, front fixings, back panel — to the same nominal length and height code.
LEGRABOX mounts in frameless (32mm grid) cabinets as standard. Face-frame installations require rear mounting sockets or brackets designed for the LEGRABOX system, sold separately. Confirm the correct bracket for your face-frame application before ordering.
When the finish of the drawer system matters as much as its motion, the Orion Gray Matte LEGRABOX N Height set gives builders a slim, soft-close foundation that holds its tone from the front fixing to the back panel — and carries it through to every AMBIA-LINE accessory added to the interior.
