This Blum LEGRABOX complete drawer system brings a K-height steel profile, integrated BLUMOTION soft-close, and full-extension travel to 20-inch cabinet runs, finished in Orion Gray Matte. It is the right build for deep pot drawers, pantry pull-outs, and large-format storage where a taller side wall and a heavy-duty rating work together in one engineered package.
The K height is the right call when drawer contents are tall enough to need a wall to lean on. Stacks of dinner plates, wide skillets standing on edge, rolled linens in a closet, or deep pantry storage with tall canisters all benefit from the 128.5mm side rather than a shallower profile. At 20 inches of nominal length, the system is a natural fit for a standard base cabinet depth, and its full-extension travel means the back of the drawer comes to hand without having to reach into the cabinet. The 170 lb capacity means the system handles the weight of a full load without the runners laboring — a cast-iron collection in a kitchen or a dense hardware stash in a shop drawer both fall well within range.
LEGRABOX sides are double-walled steel, and the K-height profile delivers that construction at a side height that closes the gap between a standard drawer and a gallery-railed pull-out. The Orion Gray Matte finish is Blum's standard interior color for the LEGRABOX line, which means it integrates naturally with AMBIA-LINE dividers, frames, and inserts specified in the same finish — no color-matching guesswork between the drawer and the organization components inside it. BLUMOTION soft-close is embedded in the runner itself, not clipped on afterward, so it adapts to the load in the drawer and delivers the same controlled close whether the drawer is empty or fully loaded.
Cabinet shops specifying kitchen or bath projects get a production-ready system with the height and capacity to handle demanding drawer runs without upsizing to a pantry pull-out. Designers working on handleless kitchens can pair the Orion Gray interior with push-to-open or electrical opening components from the LEGRABOX platform. Contractors and serious renovators replacing tired slides in an existing base cabinet get full-extension access and soft-close motion in a package sized for a standard 20-inch cabinet depth. The system is well suited to frameless cabinets and adapts to face-frame construction with the appropriate rear mounting brackets, which are sold separately and must be specified for the LEGRABOX series.
It is a complete drawer system. The set includes the steel side profiles, integrated runners, and back hardware. You supply and cut the drawer front, bottom panel, and back to Blum's published cutting specifications for this nominal length and height.
K height is 128.5mm (5-1/16 inches) — taller than the standard M height and suited to drawers where contents are tall enough to need a side wall to stay organized. Choose it for pot drawers, tall-storage pantry runs, or any application where a lower profile would leave contents unsupported.
The 170 lb rating is for the complete drawer system — per drawer, not per individual runner. That figure is the static capacity for this LEGRABOX heavy-duty configuration.
Yes. AMBIA-LINE is the interior organization line engineered for LEGRABOX drawers, and it is offered in Orion Gray Matte to match this system's finish. ORGA-LINE components, which are made for TANDEMBOX, do not fit LEGRABOX and should not be mixed with this system.
LEGRABOX is designed for frameless (32mm system) cabinet construction. It can be adapted to face-frame work, but that requires rear mounting brackets sold separately; make sure those brackets are specified for the LEGRABOX series, as they are not interchangeable with brackets from other Blum lines.
The Orion Gray Matte K-height LEGRABOX brings the capacity, the height, and the motion quality that deep storage demands — and it integrates cleanly with the AMBIA-LINE interior components that finish the job.
