A thick door is not just a heavier standard door. At 25mm or more, the door back sits deeper in the bore, and the cup geometry of a standard hinge cannot clear the cabinet front as the door swings. This Sensys thick door hinge uses modified arm geometry engineered for that depth, so the door opens cleanly without binding against the cabinet face. The 35mm cup bores into the door at 12.8mm depth, and the arm connects to a base plate on the cabinet, ordered separately. The 95 degree opening angle is the correct swing for this application, not a shortcoming: it is the angle at which a thick inset door clears the opening without collision.
The hinge is steel with a nickel finish. Screw-on mounting means the arm locks to the plate with screws rather than a tool-free clip, which suits installations where a fixed, non-quick-release connection is preferred. After installation, the depth and side adjustments let you bring doors to an even reveal across a run of cabinets: plus or minus 2mm side-to-side and plus 3mm or minus 2mm in depth.
