This Salice Series 200 Logica hinge is built for cabinet faces set at a 37-degree outward angle, the geometry found in bay-front kitchen cabinets and angled corner casework, on both face-frame and frameless boxes.
A standard concealed hinge sits square to a flat cabinet face. On a bay-front or angled corner cabinet, the face is rotated outward, and the hinge geometry has to match that rotation or the door will not close flush. This hinge is engineered for the 37-degree outward cabinet angle specifically. The 35mm cup bores into the door in the usual way, and the arm connects to a Salice base plate mounted on the angled cabinet panel. The plate is sold separately and should be matched to a Salice plate for this series. As with all concealed Euro hinges, the base plate is a required separate purchase and is not included with the hinge.
The hinge is steel with a nickel finish. On angled cabinets, getting an even reveal across an angled run takes more dialing than a flat wall of doors, which is where the built-in adjustment matters.
