This 18 inch LEGRABOX F Height complete drawer system in Silk White Matte brings Blum's premium double-walled steel construction to bright, light-filled kitchens, baths, and custom cabinetry where a white interior finish reads as intentional and designed. The system pairs full-extension travel with integrated BLUMOTION soft-close damping in a single engineered package at the tallest standard LEGRABOX side height.
The F Height profile is LEGRABOX's tallest standard side, standing 241mm (9-1/2 inches). That dimension makes this system the go-to for pot drawers loaded with cast iron, deep pantry pull-outs stacked with dry goods, and oversized storage drawers in laundry rooms or workshops. Full extension means the entire drawer contents reach the cabinet opening — no reaching blind into the back corner. The 125 lb capacity supports those loads as a dynamic working rating, not a theoretical ceiling. Build the drawer bottom and back to Blum's published cutting specification for the 450mm nominal length; the system sides, runners, and front fixings arrive as one engineered set.
White cabinetry and slab fronts have made the drawer interior itself a visible design surface — especially on handleless fronts that stay open longer. Silk White Matte keeps the interior coherent with painted or lacquered fronts and white laminate cabinet boxes. The double-walled steel sides show no exposed fasteners from inside the drawer, so the finish holds up as a continuous surface rather than a painted shell. AMBIA-LINE interior organization components for LEGRABOX are available in finishes coordinated to this system; specify Orion Gray Matte or stainless AMBIA-LINE inserts if you prefer a contrasting interior, or match in white where the line offers it.
The Silk White Matte F Height system suits production kitchens building white-on-white interiors, designers specifying handleless European cabinetry in painted finishes, and cabinet shops that need a tall-profile drawer for deep storage in any room. The 18 inch nominal length covers standard base cabinet depths — measure cabinet interior depth against the 450mm nominal to confirm clearance before ordering. Face-frame cabinet installations require rear mounting brackets sold separately; frameless (32mm system) cabinets take direct side mounting. This is an indoor system; the Silk White Matte finish is not rated for exterior or high-humidity environments such as unvented wet rooms.
No. LEGRABOX systems include the double-walled side profiles, integrated runners, and front fixing brackets. You supply the drawer front, bottom panel, and back panel, cut to Blum's published dimensions for the 450mm nominal length.
BLUMOTION soft-close and mechanical push-to-open (TIP-ON) do not run together on standard LEGRABOX runners. For a handleless front that opens at a touch and closes softly, specify LEGRABOX with TIP-ON BLUMOTION, which combines both functions in one unit. That is a separate system configuration, not a field conversion of this slide.
AMBIA-LINE is Blum's interior organization line for LEGRABOX drawers. Frames, cutlery inserts, cross and lateral dividers, knife holders, and spice trays from AMBIA-LINE are engineered to the F Height profile and LEGRABOX nominal lengths. ORGA-LINE inserts belong to the TANDEMBOX platform and will not seat correctly in a LEGRABOX box.
Silk White Matte is Blum's specific finish designation for this system. Color matching against a particular melamine or lacquer should be confirmed with a physical sample before specifying; white finish tones vary across manufacturers and substrates.
In frameless (32mm system) cabinets, the LEGRABOX runners mount directly to the cabinet side on the grid — no rear brackets required. Face-frame cabinets need Blum's rear mounting brackets, sold separately, and those brackets are series-specific to LEGRABOX.
When the cabinet front comes off and the drawer interior is in full view, Silk White Matte F Height holds the design together — tall enough for the heaviest loads, finished well enough to stand as part of the room rather than just its storage.
