This 20 inch LEGRABOX F Height complete drawer system in Silk White Matte pairs Blum's tallest standard side profile with integrated BLUMOTION soft-close and full-extension travel, giving deep storage drawers a clean, bright interior that holds up in demanding production environments.
The F Height profile is the right choice when a drawer needs to hold tall or heavy contents without stacking. A 241mm side brings enough wall to keep stock pots, bulk pantry jars, filing binders, or deep bin storage contained and visible in one pull. Full extension means the back of the drawer comes to the user rather than staying buried behind a face-frame opening. In production cabinet shops, that translates to fewer customer callbacks about lost-in-the-back storage and more confidence specifying deep base drawers where a standard-height box would waste the run.
Silk White Matte reads well in kitchens built around white shaker fronts, painted MDF slab doors, or any interior where a neutral drawer box finish matters as much as the hardware spec. It also disappears cleanly under darker fronts, since white shows less behind a closed front than a metallic or gray interior would.
LEGRABOX sides are double-walled steel, which keeps the visible inner and outer faces smooth and hides fasteners completely. The Silk White Matte coating is a consistent, low-sheen white that holds its appearance under normal loading and unloading — no sharp cabinet contents catch on exposed hardware because the fasteners are inside the wall. At the F Height, the extra side wall area makes the double-wall construction especially noticeable: the drawer interior looks like a finished product, not an assembly of parts. BLUMOTION is integrated into the runner rather than clipped on, so the damper geometry stays consistent across the system's load range without requiring field calibration.
Cabinet shops running white or light-interior kitchens can spec this system across a run and match finish families without sourcing inserts or add-on liners. The 20 inch nominal length suits standard 24 inch deep base cabinets with room for the drawer back. Design professionals specifying for clients who prioritize quiet close action and a bright, coordinated interior will find the Silk White Matte a closer visual match to painted fronts than a gray or metallic system. Homeowners tackling a deep base drawer conversion get a complete system rather than a slide-plus-box assembly exercise, and the BLUMOTION damper requires no adjustment after install.
The system includes the double-walled steel side profiles, integrated BLUMOTION runners, and front fixing brackets. The drawer front, bottom panel, and back panel are supplied by the installer to the system's published cutting dimensions.
Full extension. The drawer travels completely out to the cabinet face, giving unobstructed access to the entire drawer depth.
BLUMOTION is integrated into the runner and adapts to the drawer's loaded weight across the system's rated range. The 125 lb figure is the static load rating for this system; the damper is designed to handle loads across that range without separate adjustment.
LEGRABOX replaces the wood drawer sides entirely — the steel side profiles are the drawer wall. You supply the bottom panel and back panel to the dimensions Blum publishes for this nominal length and height.
Yes. AMBIA-LINE is Blum's interior organization line for LEGRABOX drawers and is compatible with this system. Choose inserts sized for the F Height profile and 500mm nominal length.
LEGRABOX installs directly in frameless (European-style) cabinets. Face-frame installations require the appropriate Blum face-frame rear mounting brackets, sold separately, to position the runners correctly.
The 20 inch LEGRABOX F Height in Silk White Matte brings the load capacity and side height that heavy-use drawers demand, with a finish that holds its place in white and light interior kitchens without calling attention to itself — and BLUMOTION makes sure every close is as quiet as the first.
