The LEGRABOX M Height drawer system from Blum is a complete, engineered metal drawer platform in Silk White Matte — double-walled steel sides, integrated BLUMOTION soft-close runners, and full-extension travel in a 20 inch nominal length rated for 170 lb per pair. It is the right choice when the interior finish matters as much as the mechanics.
The M Height side stands 90.5 mm (3-9/16 inches) tall — Blum's mid-range profile that suits everyday kitchen drawers, bath vanity drawers, and bedroom casework where a moderate side height keeps the interior open and accessible without the bulk of a tall gallery drawer. At 20 inches nominal length (500 mm), the system fits standard 21-inch-deep base cabinets with the front clearance Blum's specification requires. The 170 lb rating per pair means this system handles even loaded pot or pantry drawers without stress. For handle-less cabinetry, the LEGRABOX platform supports Blum's TIP-ON and TIP-ON BLUMOTION opening units — but those components are separate and must be specified for this system; standard BLUMOTION soft-close ships with this set.
Silk White Matte is Blum's factory finish for LEGRABOX interiors destined for white and off-white cabinet programs. The double-walled sides present the same matte face inside and out, so the drawer interior reads as part of the cabinet design rather than an afterthought. Shops running white kitchens can specify this system across every base drawer and match AMBIA-LINE organization inserts — available separately in coordinating finishes — without a visible seam between the box and the organizer. Steel construction throughout means the box does not flex under load the way a wood drawer box can, and the UV-stable matte coating holds its tone without yellowing.
Cabinet shops building production white kitchens reach for this system when the client expects a finished interior as clean as the exterior. Kitchen designers specifying handle-less or integrated-front cabinetry use the LEGRABOX platform as the structural foundation for the front-fixing and push-to-open systems they layer on top. Contractors replacing worn drawer boxes in existing white kitchens can match the Silk White Matte finish to most factory-painted interiors. Homeowners doing a single drawer replacement will find the full-extension, soft-close action a noticeable step up from the original hardware.
The system ships with steel sides, runners, and BLUMOTION soft-close. You supply the drawer front, bottom panel, and back panel cut to Blum's published formula for M Height at 500 mm nominal length. Front fixing brackets, cover caps, and AMBIA-LINE organization inserts are available separately.
Per pair — that is the working capacity of one complete drawer installation. Do not double the number by counting each runner separately.
Yes, the LEGRABOX platform is compatible with Blum's TIP-ON and TIP-ON BLUMOTION mechanical opening units, sold separately. Standard BLUMOTION soft-close comes integrated with this set; the push-to-open unit replaces or pairs with it depending on the version chosen. Confirm the specific TIP-ON SKU for M Height before ordering.
AMBIA-LINE is Blum's interior organization line engineered for LEGRABOX — frames, cutlery trays, cross dividers, and spice inserts in finishes that coordinate with Silk White Matte. They are sold separately and must be selected for the M Height and 500 mm nominal length of this system.
The LEGRABOX platform is designed for frameless (32 mm system) cabinets. Face-frame installation requires Blum's face-frame adapter or rear mounting components, sold separately. Check Blum's installation documentation for face-frame depth and bracket requirements before specifying.
Specify this LEGRABOX M Height system when the finish inside the cabinet should be as deliberate as the finish outside it — and when a 170 lb full-extension, soft-close drawer needs to work reliably for the life of the installation.
