Doellken PVC Edgebanding 15/16" x 2 mm, 2416 Black, 328', 2416 1502 1

PVC Edgebanding Black 2mm For Panel Edges

PVC edgebanding black 2mm from Doellken Woodtape covers and protects raw panel edges, which creates a finished look on cabinets, casework, and fixtures where a solid black edge is needed across the project.

The 15/16 inch width gives coverage for standard 3/4 inch panels with margin for trimming, which helps installers flush-trim cleanly without exposing the core material along straight or curved runs.

The 2mm thickness builds a more substantial edge profile, which provides a bolder visual line and extra edge material during machining, helpful on high-use verticals, shelving fronts, or door edges.

This 328 foot roll format supports longer production runs, which reduces roll changes during batch work on edgebanders and helps keep workflow steady on repetitive cabinet or millwork jobs.

The color 2416 black tone is designed as a dedicated black option, which supports consistent color across different components when black faces or accents are part of the laminate or TFL specification.

Key Edgebanding Details For Color Matching

• The color 2416 black is listed as a good color match to American Laminates Black, which helps casework built with that surface maintain a continuous black appearance across faces and edges.
• The web description notes a good color match to Arauco Prism BLK100 Black Suede, which supports using this single edgeband to finish Arauco-based cabinet boxes, finished ends, or doors in that design.
• Multiple BauschLinnemann references, including Ebony Black and other black designs, are noted as good matches, which gives shops using those profiles a single edge solution for coordinated black projects.
• The color match list also calls out Formica 909 Black in matte as a good match, which ties this edge band directly to a common HPL specification for commercial and residential millwork.
• Wilsonart 1595 Black in matte is described as a good match, which makes this roll suited to projects built around that widely used black Wilsonart design on casework or countersplash edges.
• Uniboard 631 Classic Black Dolomite and 888 Nova Black Dolomite are both noted as good matches, which supports TFL-based cabinet and furniture runs using those Uniboard designs.

Edgeband Size And Roll Format For Installation

The 15/16 inch width is specified for this edge banding, which gives a slight overhang on typical 3/4 inch panels and allows trimming equipment to cut back to a clean, straight finished edge.

The 2mm thickness noted in the product name creates a thicker edge band, which provides more material for profiling and finishing passes during installation on cabinet doors, tops, and vertical panels.

The 328 foot roll length stated in the description supports longer continuous runs, which is useful when setting up an edgebander for full kitchens, banked casework, or matching furniture groups in the same black.

The product is classified as PVC edge banding, which means installers are working with a PVC material familiar to standard edgebanding equipment and common fabrication workflows in cabinet shops.

Using This Black PVC Edgebanding In Projects

Where This 2mm Black Edgeband Fits Best

This Doellken Woodtape PVC edge banding, in color 2416 black, is positioned for use on laminate and TFL projects that call out specific black designs, which keeps panel faces and edges visually aligned.

The good color match to American Laminates Black and Arauco Prism BLK100 Black Suede connects this roll directly to those panel lines, which lets shops run coordinated cabinets, fixtures, and furniture in those finishes.

References to Formica 909 Black matte and Wilsonart 1595 Black matte as good matches tie the band to common HPL programs, which allows edges on tops, counters, or verticals to follow the same black tone.

The listing of Uniboard 631 Classic Black Dolomite and 888 Nova Black Dolomite as good matches points this product toward TFL-based casework, which supports designers using those black dolomite panels.

Additional good match notes for lines such as Nevamar, Pionite, Panolam, and others broaden the laminate options, which helps fabricators keep one consistent black edge across mixed-brand laminate specifications.

Mentions of close matches, such as Decore-Ative Black Oak and Roucke Black, show where the tone tracks near specific designs, which is useful when aligning edge color on related but slightly varied black patterns.

Details That Support Consistent Black Finishes

The dedicated color match list in the web description, covering brands like Arborite, Arclin, Funder, KML, Laminova, Lamitech, Nevamar, Pionite, Roseburg Duramine, StevensWood, Tafisa, and others, ties this edge band directly to multiple black programs.

The repeated description of these pairings as good matches indicates the 2416 black tone was coordinated against those surfaces, which helps reduce visible transitions where a black face meets a black edge.

The edge band being PVC means its color body runs through the band, which supports trimmed edges and small profiles staying visually black after machining and finishing passes on doors or panels.

The 2mm thickness works with that PVC construction to give more color depth at the edge, which is especially relevant on door and drawer fronts where the edge line is in constant view and contact.

The 15/16 inch width combined with PVC material suits straight runs on cabinet box sides, shelves, and tops, which lets shops process a variety of parts on the same edgebander setup using this roll.

The 328 foot length in a single roll pairs with the broad color match coverage, which helps production teams run long batches across different panel brands while maintaining the same 2416 black edge detail.
