Patwin 315 Brown T-Molding, 250' L x 1-1/4" W - 7/64" Kerf - P520-1-1/4-315

Patwin Plastics Brown Tee Molding For Edges

Patwin Plastics brown tee molding gives you a non-toxic polyethylene edge solution that fits both outside and inside curves, so one profile handles varied layouts on the same run. The 1-1/4 inch width covers exposed edges on worktops, panels, or fixtures where a wider protective band is required. A 7/64 inch kerf dimension matches standard routed slots for tee moldings, which helps the barbed stem lock into the groove without fighting the material. The Flexene polyethylene formulation is designed to fit any contour, so it tracks smoothly around radii instead of bunching or kinking. Consistently precise dimensions across the length mean each cut piece seats the same, which supports repeatable results when several sections align on a long edge. A brown color option offers a uniform appearance along the full length, helping finished runs present as one continuous trim line.

Key Tee Molding Details For Daily Work

• Non-toxic polyethylene construction provides an edge treatment made from a non-toxic material, which supports use in shops and installations where a polyethylene trim is preferred.
• Flexene molding design fits any contour on outside and inside curves, reducing effort when running trim around radii on countertops, display fixtures, or casework.
• Consistently precise dimensions support predictable slot routing and insertion, so multiple cut lengths align cleanly along longer edges in production or installation.
• Design that fits firmly and hugs edges permanently gives a secure grip in the routed kerf, which helps keeps trim seated during service rather than loosening at high-touch corners.
• 250 ft roll length supplies a continuous run of molding, which reduces splice points across longer edges and supports multiple jobs from one roll where lengths allow.
• Offset brown tee molding appearance provides a brown edge profile, helping projects that call for a brown trim to maintain a consistent tone along every installed segment.

Installation Fit Of 7/64 Inch Kerf Profile

This tee molding uses a 7/64 inch kerf specification, so routing a matching 7/64 inch slot prepares the panel to receive the barbed stem along its full length. The 1-1/4 inch width then spans the edge and adjacent face area, which helps cover minor edge irregularities while presenting a defined band. Because the Flexene design is intended to fit any contour, installers can press the stem into routed grooves around curves without cutting reliefs at every change in direction. Consistently precise dimensions along the molding mean that once equipment is set for the kerf and depth, the same settings apply from the first cut to the last piece, which supports repeatable workflow on larger runs where many panels share the same profile.

Using This Flexene Tee Molding In Projects

Where This Brown Tee Molding Fits Best

This Patwin Plastics brown tee molding is part of the Edgebanding & Surfacing category in tee moldings, so it suits projects that call for a decorative and protective edge along panels. The 1-1/4 inch width pairs well with edge conditions that benefit from a broader trim band, such as thicker tops or panels with visible face material adjacent to the edge. Because Flexene molding is designed to fit any contour, it adapts to layouts that alternate between straight runs and radiused corners, allowing one continuous piece to follow the profile. The non-toxic polyethylene material supports use in woodworking environments that specify polyethylene moldings, and the brown color aligns with designs that call for a brown edge treatment along counters, fixtures, or casework runs.

Details That Support Repeatable Trim Results

The 7/64 inch kerf specification ties directly to slot preparation, so once tooling is set to that width, each routed groove is ready to accept the barbed stem with the same fit. Consistently precise dimensions in both workability and color mean that each length behaves and appears the same, which is important when joining multiple segments along a visible edge. The design that insures the installation will fit firmly and hug edges permanently provides a tight interface between molding and substrate, helping the profile stay seated along edges that see regular contact. With a 250 ft roll length, fabricators can cut multiple pieces from a single run of material, which helps keep color consistent from one door, panel, or top to the next. As part of a tee molding system, this profile serves as the visible edge component that protects the substrate edge while delivering a uniform brown appearance across each completed installation.
