This is the left-hand rear mounting bracket with socket for Grass Elite Plus drawer slides, designed to anchor the back end of the slide in face-frame cabinet installations where the slide's rear cannot attach directly to the cabinet side.
Face-frame cabinets set the cabinet side panel back from the front opening, leaving the rear of a drawer slide without a mounting surface at the back. In frameless cabinets, the slide runs from the front rail straight to the back panel and screws directly to the side. In face-frame work, that rear support has to come from somewhere else — and that is exactly what this bracket provides. It mounts to the cabinet back or side and receives the slide's rear post in the V-notch socket, holding the slide parallel to the drawer and level across its full length. Without it, the back of the slide is unsupported and the drawer will sag, rack, or pull loose over time.
The bracket is metal construction with a screw-on mounting pattern that gives the installer a repeatable, secure attachment point at the rear of the cabinet. The V-notch socket is formed to the Elite Plus slide post geometry so the slide seats positively without shimming or improvised support. Because this is a handed part — left side only — it is not reversible in the field; order one left-hand and one right-hand bracket per drawer to complete the pair.

It is also the correct replacement part for an existing Elite Plus installation where a rear bracket has been lost or damaged on the left side. Handedness is determined by the side of the cabinet the bracket mounts on when you face the cabinet opening. This bracket mounts on the left side. The socket orientation and screw-hole geometry differ between left and right versions, so they are not interchangeable.
