Air-Pro (Formerly Fujioh) 02A High Performance Ventilator Power Pack 390 CFM Blower, Halogen Light and Dishwasher-Safe Filter, Black - AIR-PRO 02A BK

A Black Powder Coat Ventilator Built for High-Output Cooktops

This Air-Pro 02A BK ventilator power pack is the air-moving core of a wood range hood installation, finished in black powder coat and rated to handle cooktops up to 40,000 BTU. It houses the blower, halogen light, and dishwasher-safe filter in a single unit that drops into a compatible wood hood shell.

Key Features

• 390 CFM blower delivers high-output airflow suited to serious cooking tasks.
• Black powder coat finish coordinates with dark-finished cabinetry and modern hardware palettes.
• Rated for cooktops up to 40,000 BTU so it keeps pace with higher-output residential ranges.
• Dishwasher-safe filter resists oily buildup and cleans in a standard dishwasher cycle.
• Integrated halogen light puts direct task lighting on the cooking surface.
• 7 sone noise rating at high speed, typical for a unit at this output level.

The Part That Does the Work

A wood hood shell frames the space above the range, but it does not move air on its own. This power pack is the mechanical unit that handles ventilation: the blower pulls smoke, steam, and cooking odors up and out while the integrated halogen light keeps the cooktop visible. At 390 CFM, it is sized for cooks who run a range hard, not just for occasional use. The 40,000 BTU ceiling covers most high-output residential cooktops without needing a commercial-grade ventilator.

Black Powder Coat in the Hood Cavity

Most of this unit lives inside the wood shell where it is not visible day-to-day, but the black powder coat finish matters when the liner opening or hood interior is partially visible from certain angles or under task lighting. For kitchens built around dark cabinetry, matte black hardware, or a charcoal-toned palette, the black finish keeps the interior consistent with the rest of the design rather than introducing a mismatched metallic flash. The powder coat is durable and holds up to the heat cycling and occasional cleaning that comes with regular use above the range.

Where This Unit Fits

This power pack suits a kitchen where the cooktop runs at higher BTU output and the design calls for a dark or black interior finish inside the hood. Cabinet shops and installers specifying wood hood systems for clients with professional-style residential ranges will find the 390 CFM output and the 40,000 BTU rating a practical match for that segment. Homeowners finishing a renovation with dark cabinetry can specify this unit to keep the visible hood cavity consistent with the rest of the kitchen. Because it is the ventilator only, the compatible wood hood shell and liner are specified and ordered separately to complete the assembly.
