Air-Pro (Formerly Fujioh) 02A High Performance Ventilator Power Pack 390 CFM Blower, Halogen Light and Dishwasher-Safe Filter, Silver Metallic - AIR-PRO 02A SM

A Silver Metallic Ventilator Power Pack That Finishes the Hood

This Air-Pro by VMI 02A SM is a ventilator power pack that installs inside a compatible wood hood shell to deliver the blower, light, and filtration the decorative shell cannot provide on its own. The Silver Metallic finish coordinates with the liner inside the hood so the mechanical hardware reads as a cohesive unit from below.

Key Features

• 390 CFM centrifugal blower rated for cooktops up to 40,000 BTU/h.
• Silver Metallic finish complements the interior liner and visible surfaces of the hood opening.
• 7-sone noise rating at high speed, with lower settings available for quieter operation.
• Integrated halogen light brings task lighting directly over the cooking surface.
• Dishwasher-safe filter simplifies routine maintenance without scrubbing by hand.
• 28-7/16 inch wide unit with a 17-1/2 by 11-13/16 inch hole size for verified rough-opening fit.

What This Unit Does in the Hood System

A wood range hood shell is the visible cabinetry. This power pack is the functional core that goes inside it. The blower pulls smoke, steam, and cooking odors up through the hood at up to 390 CFM, which is sized for residential cooktops running up to 40,000 BTU/h. For a moderate-output gas range or a high-output residential burner, that airflow headroom keeps the kitchen clear during active cooking. The unit sits behind the finished face of the hood, so the woodwork stays prominent while the ventilation hardware does its job out of sight.

Finish, Filter, and Light

The Silver Metallic finish on this power pack is a practical choice when the hood liner is silver or metallic, because the hardware visible from below blends with its surroundings rather than contrasting against the wood. The dishwasher-safe filter handles oily buildup without requiring a separate cleaning process: pull it, run it through a standard dishwasher cycle, and reinstall. The built-in halogen light illuminates the cooktop surface directly, adding functional task lighting that most wood hood shells do not include on their own.

Where This Power Pack Fits

This unit is the right choice when the hood shell uses a silver or metallic interior liner and the cooktop runs on a typical residential gas range or a mid-to-high output burner up to 40,000 BTU/h. Cabinet shops building hood installations around Air-Pro-compatible liners, designers specifying a complete hood system, and homeowners replacing or upgrading the ventilation hardware inside an existing wood hood all have a use for this unit. The rough-opening dimension of 17-1/2 by 11-13/16 inches and the 28-7/16 inch overall width are the critical fit specs to confirm against the liner or shell before ordering.
