Bay cabinets and diagonal corner units open at an angle to the wall, and a standard 90-degree hinge cannot seat the door correctly in that geometry. This hinge is machined to the +45-degree cabinet angle so the arm swings the door on the right arc, the overlay lands square, and the reveal stays consistent. The 35mm cup bores into the door in the standard way, and the hinge body mounts to the cabinet on the angled side. A matching Grass base plate, ordered separately, completes the installation. Plates are Grass-specific and are not interchangeable with other brands.
The hinge is steel with a nickel finish, consistent with the rest of the Tiomos line so the hardware coordinates across an angled and standard cabinet mix on the same project. The integrated Grass soft-close mechanism is inside the hinge body rather than added on, which keeps the profile clean and means there is nothing to clip or attach separately to get the damped close.
