Berenson Up Pull 2-1/2" (64 mm) Center to Center, Polished Chrome, 9738-1026-C

Berenson Up Series Pull For Cabinet Projects

Berenson Up Series pull defines this handle as part of a coordinated decorative hardware collection, so matching pulls can be kept consistent across cabinet and drawer fronts on the same job. The pull is a zinc die cast handle in a polished chrome finish, which gives a bright metal look that suits modern residential or light commercial cabinetry. A 2-1/2 inch (64 mm) center to center dimension sets the mounting hole spacing, which guides drilling layouts and jig setups when fitting multiple doors or drawers. Overall length of 3-9/16 inches establishes the visual footprint on the fascia, helping balance proportions on narrower or wider fronts. A projection of 2 inches creates hand clearance from the cabinet surface, supporting a comfortable grip. Width of 3/8 inch keeps the profile slim, which matters on compact fronts or closely spaced drawers.

Key Details That Support Cabinet Layout

• The 2-1/2 inch (64 mm) center to center measurement sets a standard mounting spread, which simplifies repeat drilling across a run of doors or drawers using jigs or templates.
• The overall 3-9/16 inch length defines how much handle shows on the face, helping plan spacing between pulls on double doors or wide drawer fronts.
• The 2 inch projection holds the gripping surface away from the door, allowing fingers to wrap behind the pull without contacting the cabinet face during regular opening and closing.
• The 3/8 inch width keeps the pull visually light, which is useful on narrow rails or smaller cabinet doors where larger hardware could crowd the design.
• The polished chrome finish provides a bright, reflective surface, pairing well with other chrome decorative hardware for a consistent appearance across the installation.
• The zinc die cast material gives the pull a solid metal construction, which is suitable for everyday cabinet and drawer use in typical woodworking environments.

Mounting Details For 64 mm Center To Center

The 64 mm center to center dimension defines the exact distance between the two mounting holes, allowing installers to set up drilling patterns that repeat accurately across multiple fronts. This pull uses metric M4 screws as the fastening interface, so the handle is designed for threaded engagement with standard cabinet door and drawer boring for this size. Base dimensions of 3 inches describe the overall span of the feet at each end, which helps align the pull relative to stiles, rails, or edge reveals. With a projection of 2 inches, the handle stands off sufficiently from the surface, supporting comfortable hand access even when doors are inset or when fronts are framed by trim. The combination of length, width, and projection defines a consistent geometry that can be carried across an entire bank of cabinets.

Using This Polished Chrome Pull In Cabinet Work

Where This 2-1/2 Inch Cabinet Pull Fits Best

This handle belongs to the Berenson Up Series collection, positioning it for use on cabinets and drawers where a coordinated decorative hardware theme is desired. The 2-1/2 inch (64 mm) center to center size suits many cabinet door and drawer applications that call for a compact, modern pull spacing. With a 3-9/16 inch length, the pull offers enough gripping area for typical kitchen, bath, or shop cabinet fronts while staying proportionate to smaller doors. The polished chrome finish gives a bright accent on painted or stained wood, laminate, or other common cabinet materials, tying in with chrome faucets or hinges when those elements are present in the project. A width of 3/8 inch maintains a streamlined look, fitting well on narrow rails or smaller drawer fronts where a bulkier handle might visually dominate the design.

Why The Up Series Details Support Consistent Results

The defined 64 mm center to center dimension allows jigs or drilling templates to be set once and repeated, which reduces layout time and helps keep pulls straight across long cabinet runs. Zinc die cast construction offers a uniform shape from piece to piece, supporting consistent alignment when installing several handles on the same project. The 2 inch projection gives enough clearance for fingers behind the pull, which helps users operate doors and drawers without scraping knuckles against the cabinet face over time. Base dimensions of 3 inches help position the pull so its feet sit evenly on rails or drawer fronts, assisting with visual alignment relative to edges and panel lines. The polished chrome finish is part of the pull itself, so the visible surfaces maintain the same reflective look wherever the handle is mounted on the cabinetry.
