Berenson Up Pull 5/8" (16 mm) Center to Center, Polished Chrome, 9740-1026-C

Berenson Up Series Pull For Compact Cabinet Use

Berenson Up Series pull gives you a compact 5/8 inch center to center grip that works well where space between fasteners is tight, so you can line up hardware on narrow rails or small doors without crowding nearby components.

The pull is made from zinc die cast material, which provides a solid metal body that handles repeated cabinet use while keeping weight low on the door or drawer, supporting smoother hinge and slide motion.

Its polished chrome finish creates a bright, reflective surface that ties in cleanly with other chrome hardware, helping you maintain a consistent look across a run of cabinets or furniture pieces.

An overall length of 1-5/8 inches keeps the pull visually compact, so it suits smaller fronts or tight layouts while still giving a defined handhold for opening doors and drawers.

A projection of 2-15/16 inches brings the gripping surface well away from the cabinet face, giving fingers more clearance to grab from different angles, which is useful on thicker doors or when working with gloves.

The 3/8 inch width keeps the profile slim across the front, which helps maintain clean sightlines on modern designs while still offering enough surface to feel stable in the hand during daily use.

Key Pull Details That Support Cabinet Work

• The 5/8 inch (16 mm) center to center mounting dimension allows precise hole layout on narrow stiles, reducing layout conflicts on smaller doors and drawer fronts.
• The zinc die cast construction creates a rigid pull body that resists flexing during regular operation, helping hardware stay aligned on the fastener centers over time.
• The polished chrome finish matches other polished chrome decorative hardware, simplifying coordination across hinges, knobs, and pulls in the same environment.
• The 1-5/8 inch overall length keeps the pull scaled for compact cabinetry, which can help maintain proportion on small bath vanities, upper cabinets, or furniture pieces.
• The 2-15/16 inch projection extends the grip away from the cabinet face, improving finger clearance when opening doors near adjacent walls or adjacent cabinet runs.
• The 3/8 inch width presents a narrow front edge, which supports a modern, minimal look while still giving enough contact surface to feel secure when pulling.

Mounting And Fit Details For This Small Pull

This Berenson Corporation pull uses a 5/8 inch (16 mm) center to center hole spacing, so the mounting points are set very close together, which is useful on slim rails where wider pulls will not fit between panel edges.

The pull uses M4 screw size threading, which matches common cabinet hardware practice, so the threaded interface works with standard M4 machine screw fasteners during installation or hardware swaps.

Base dimensions of 1-3/32 inches mean each foot of the pull covers a modest footprint on the door or drawer surface, giving enough contact area for stability without visually overpowering narrow frames or trim details.

With its 2-15/16 inch projection, the pull stands off the cabinet face enough that the user can grab from above, below, or straight on, helping operation stay consistent across different cabinet positions and heights.

Using This Berenson Up Series Pull In Projects

Where This 16 mm Center To Center Pull Fits

This pull belongs to the Up Series collection from Berenson Corporation, placing it within a coordinated line of decorative hardware so it can be used where a consistent style is required across multiple cabinet locations.

The compact 5/8 inch center to center spacing suits small cabinet doors, narrow drawer fronts, and tight-face frames where standard pulls with wider mounting spans would conflict with panel joints or neighboring hardware.

Its overall 1-5/8 inch length keeps the hardware footprint modest, which aligns well with small-scale cabinetry such as upper kitchen cabinets, bathroom cabinets, or furniture pieces where oversized pulls would dominate the face.

The 3/8 inch width keeps the pull visually light across the front of the cabinet, which works well on modern or transitional designs where a slim, linear look is preferred over bulky hardware shapes.

Because the body is zinc die cast, the pull delivers a metal feel suitable for frequently used doors and drawers in residential or light commercial woodworking projects, supporting consistent operation throughout the cabinet run.

Details That Support Consistent Alignment And Use

The 16 mm center to center dimension is precise, which helps when drilling repeating hole patterns across multiple fronts, supporting clean alignment of pulls along cabinet banks or furniture cases.

M4 screw size threading provides a predictable fastener interface, so installers can use the same thread standard across many pulls on the job, simplifying hardware organization and reducing mix-ups at installation time.

The 2-15/16 inch projection offers generous finger clearance between the gripping surface and the cabinet face, which can help reduce knuckle contact with door edges and protect finished surfaces during everyday operation.

Base dimensions of 1-3/32 inches give each end of the pull enough area to distribute forces on the mounting surface, which supports stable mounting on wood doors and drawer fronts under normal opening loads.

The polished chrome finish creates a bright surface that visually ties in with other polished chrome elements, helping designers and installers maintain a uniform metal tone across pulls, knobs, and related decorative components.

The zinc die cast material works with the small form factor to keep overall weight low on each front, which can be helpful on lighter doors or drawers where hardware weight balance matters for smooth motion.
