Steel Drawer Side Profile That Disappears Into the Cabinet Finish

This is the 15 inch Vionaro H89 drawer side profile from Grass America in Silver Gray, a formed steel drawer side that serves as the structural wall of a Vionaro drawer system. It is the component around which the rest of the Vionaro build is assembled: runners, front fixings, back panel, and organization accessories all reference this profile as their anchor point.

Key Features

• Silver Gray finish blends with light-toned cabinet interiors and laminate drawer boxes without demanding attention.
• H89 side height (3-1/2 inch) suits standard cutlery and utility drawers where a low-profile wall keeps the usable depth open.
• Formed steel construction carries the load and gives the drawer its structural rigidity without added weight.
• 1/2 inch profile thickness keeps the drawer wall slim so more interior width is available for the box and its contents.
• 15 inch nominal length fits shallow cabinet runs and compact drawer configurations where longer slides would overhang.
• Vionaro system compatibility means runners, front fixings, cover caps, and divider hardware for this platform are all designed to this profile.

Where This Profile Fits the Build

The H89 height designation places this profile in the low range of the Vionaro side height lineup, making it the right choice for drawers that do not need tall sides: flatware drawers, spice drawers, utility trays, and shallow organizer pulls. At 15 inches nominal length, it suits compact cabinet depths, island seating pulls, and smaller base cabinet configurations where a longer profile would extend past the cabinet back. If your layout calls for a taller pot drawer or a deep pantry pull-out, a taller Vionaro height option is a better fit. This profile is the starting point for that build, not an add-on to an existing box.

Material, Finish, and Construction

The profile is formed steel at 1/2 inch thick, giving it the rigidity to carry drawer contents without flexing at the runner attachment points. Silver Gray is a neutral mid-tone finish that reads as neither warm nor cool in most interior lighting, coordinating well with white, light gray, and natural wood drawer fronts. It also matches the Silver Gray colorway available across Vionaro covers, front fixings, and gallery rails, so a drawer built entirely from Vionaro Silver Gray components presents a consistent interior. The finish is a factory-applied coating on the steel; it is not paintable or field-refinished, so finish selection at the order stage is final.

Who Orders This Profile and Why

Cabinet shops building production runs of face-frame or frameless kitchen and bath cabinetry in lighter color schemes reach for the Silver Gray Vionaro profile when the design calls for a visible interior that coordinates with painted or light-laminate door fronts. Designers specifying a full Vionaro system in Silver Gray will call this profile out by height and length for every drawer in the run. Homeowners replacing a damaged drawer side on an existing Vionaro Silver Gray installation can match the profile exactly by ordering this SKU. In all three cases, the key is building the complete Vionaro system from matched components: the runners, back, front fixings, and any organization accessories must all be Vionaro-compatible parts, not generic slides or universal hardware.

The Right Profile Keeps the Whole System on Track

Choosing the correct Vionaro side profile by height, length, and finish at the start of the project means every downstream component — runners, fixings, covers, and drawer organization — orders cleanly against one specification, with no substitutions and no rework at installation.
