The Grass Vionaro H249 drawer side profile, in Silver Gray, is a 15-inch steel side component for the Vionaro metal drawer system. At 9-3/4 inches tall, it is the full-height H249 profile — the choice when a deep, high-capacity drawer interior and a coordinated Silver Gray finish both matter to the final installation.
A 15-inch nominal length suits cabinet runs that cannot accommodate deeper drawers — an island with a reduced back-to-front dimension, a narrow base unit, or a peninsula layout where plumbing or structure limits the available depth. The H249's 9-3/4 inch height makes the most of the available interior even in these tighter footprints, giving you a tall, organized storage cavity without needing more cabinet depth. This profile is commonly specified for pot drawers, deep pantry pulls, and high-sided utility drawers where drawer height compensates for the shorter run.
Silver Gray sits between the Vionaro program's White and Graphite options — warm enough not to clash with natural wood interiors, neutral enough to work alongside painted or lacquered fronts. For installations where the interior is visible when the drawer is open (open-shelf kitchens, display-heavy cabinetry, or showroom work), a finish-matched side profile reads intentional rather than utilitarian. The steel construction holds the finish consistently along the full profile length with no visible seam or overspray variation. The 1/2-inch wall keeps the interior footprint generous even in a 15-inch drawer run.
Cabinet shops specifying Vionaro throughout a kitchen reach for the 15-inch H249 when they hit a cabinet position that won't take the longer runs they've used elsewhere — the goal is a consistent interior finish language across the entire piece, with only the nominal length changing. Designers working on high-visibility cabinetry often call out the Silver Gray specifically because it photographs well and coordinates with brushed metal hardware. Contractors completing a run of Vionaro drawers will add 15-inch profiles to fill out the shallower boxes without switching systems. This is a component, not a complete drawer, so the full Vionaro build — runners, front fixing brackets, backs, and locking devices — is required to make a working drawer.

The Vionaro drawer system requires matching 15-inch runners, front fixing brackets for the H249 height, a back panel, and locking devices — all sourced from the Vionaro platform. Accessories from other drawer systems will not fit.
Vionaro pairs with Grass's Tavinea Optima dividing system — cut-to-length divider rails, rail holders, and Smartboard panels sized for Nova Pro Scala and Vionaro interiors in coordinated finishes. Confirm Tavinea Optima compatibility for the 15-inch nominal length before ordering divider components.
No. Nominal length components must match within a single drawer — a 15-inch side profile pairs with 15-inch runners. Mixing lengths from the same platform across different cabinet positions is standard practice; mixing them within one drawer is not.
Specifying the Vionaro H249 in Silver Gray at 15 inches brings the same finish language and structural integrity of the broader Vionaro installation into the cabinet positions where depth is limited — so the interior reads as one intentional system, not a mix of solutions.
