Silver Gray Finish, Full 9-3/4 Inch Height, and Vionaro System Fit

This is an 18 inch Grass Vionaro H249 drawer side profile in Silver Gray, a tall steel side component for deep-storage drawers built on the Vionaro metal drawer system. At 249mm (9-3/4 inches), the H249 height code suits the deepest drawer runs in a Vionaro installation — tall pantry pull-outs, deep pot drawers, and oversized utility drawers where low-profile sides simply won't contain the contents.

Key Features

• H249 height (9-3/4 inch / 249mm side profile) — the tallest standard height in the Vionaro line, built for deep-storage and pantry applications.
• 18 inch nominal length — sized for shallower cabinets where a longer run would overshoot the carcass depth.
• Steel construction — a rigid, load-bearing side profile rather than a slide-mounted drawer box.
• Silver Gray finish — a cool, neutral tone that pairs cleanly with light-colored fronts and modern hardware finishes.
• 1/2 inch profile thickness — slim enough to recover usable drawer interior width in tight cabinet openings.
• Grass Vionaro system component — engineered to pair with Vionaro runners, front fixings, and organization accessories from the same platform.

Where the H249 Height and 18 Inch Length Make Sense

The H249 designation is the deepest side height in the Vionaro range, and it earns its place in specific drawer types. Pantry pull-outs that need to contain stacked cans and tall bottles, deep pot drawers where pans need to be corralled upright, and oversized utility or craft drawers with tall contents all benefit from a 249mm side rather than a shorter M or lower profile. The 18 inch nominal length matches cabinets with shallower carcass depths — a base cabinet with less than 20 inches of usable interior depth, for example, or an island drawer run where depth is traded for width. Pairing tall side height with a shorter nominal length is a legitimate design move for a drawer that needs containment height but sits in a compact cabinet.

Silver Gray in the Vionaro Finish Family

Silver Gray is a cool mid-tone metallic — warmer than white, cooler than graphite — that reads as a clean, contemporary neutral inside the cabinet. It pairs naturally with slab fronts in light wood, white lacquer, or pale gray laminate, and it coordinates with brushed nickel and stainless hardware without competing for attention. The finish runs across the Vionaro side profile, so the interior of the drawer presents consistently from side to side. Vionaro organization accessories — divider rail holders, cross rails, and Tavinea Optima components — are offered in coordinated finishes for this platform; confirm the finish match against your specific accessories before ordering.

Who Should Specify This Profile

Cabinet shops building pantry columns or deep-drawer kitchen runs are the natural home for this component. The H249 height is rarely the right call for a standard silverware drawer or a shallow spice pull-out, but for any project where the drawer needs to stand up to bulky, tall, or heavy contents, the tall profile gives the system side wall it needs. Designers specifying handle-less kitchen programs in light palettes will find Silver Gray the right balance between presence and recede — visible enough to show the system's quality, neutral enough to not draw attention away from the fronts. Contractors replacing drawer system components in an existing Vionaro installation should confirm the height code and finish of the installed sides before ordering replacements, since Vionaro heights are not interchangeable.

A Tall Profile That Earns Its Place in the Right Cabinet

The Vionaro H249 in Silver Gray is a deliberate specification — the right profile when the drawer needs to contain tall contents, the cabinet depth calls for an 18 inch run, and the finish palette is light and contemporary. Order it as part of a complete Vionaro drawer build and match it to the platform's runners, fixings, and accessories for a system that works as engineered.
