R. Christensen by Berenson Lips Pull 6-5/16" (160 mm) Center to Center, Polished Chrome, 1183-1026-C

Lips Edge Pull 160mm Polished Chrome Use

Lips edge pull 160mm polished chrome is a zinc cabinet pull from the R. Christensen by Berenson Lips collection, so it serves as a decorative and functional grip for doors or drawers in that matching series. The 6-5/16 inch (160 mm) center to center drilling sets a consistent handle spacing, which supports repeatable layouts across banks of cabinets or panels. The polished chrome finish gives the zinc pull a bright surface, which creates a clean, reflective look on wood, laminate, or painted fronts where a modern appearance is wanted. A projection of 13/16 inch defines how far the pull extends from the surface, so hands have room to grasp while fronts stay relatively low profile. The 1-13/16 inch width spreads contact over a broader area, which can help the pull sit visibly along an edge and register consistently during layout.

Key Lips Edge Pull Details For Projects

• The Lips collection identification ties this pull to a named series, which helps coordinate multiple handles for uniform styling on a run of cabinets or furniture pieces.
• The zinc material defines the base metal for the pull, which matters when planning for machining, finishing compatibility, and overall hardware selection on cabinetry or casework.
• The polished chrome finish gives the pull its final surface, which affects the visual match with hinges or other polished chrome components in the same installation.
• The 6-5/16 inch (160 mm) center to center drilling dimension provides a fixed hole spacing, which guides boring patterns and jig setups for repeat cabinet production.
• The 9-7/16 inch length establishes the overall handle span, which influences visual proportion on wider fronts and how far the pull covers the cabinet edge.
• The 13/16 inch projection defines stand-off from the door or drawer face, which affects grip clearance and how close the pull sits to adjacent surfaces.

Edge Pull Mounting Dimensions And Fit

The Lips edge pull uses a 6-5/16 inch (160 mm) center to center measurement, which sets the distance between mounting points and aligns with standard metric drilling for this size class. The 9-7/16 inch overall length determines how much of the cabinet edge is spanned, so designers can balance handle length against door or drawer width. With a projection of 13/16 inch from the surface, the pull provides working finger clearance while keeping the profile tight to the face, which helps in tight reveals or closely spaced fronts. The 1-13/16 inch width gives the pull a broader footprint along the edge, which can assist with consistent visual alignment from piece to piece in a run.

Using The 1183-1026-C Lips Edge Pull

Where This Lips Edge Pull Fits Best

The R. Christensen by Berenson Lips edge pull with 6-5/16 inch (160 mm) center to center drilling fits cabinets or drawers designed around this specific hole spacing, which supports straightforward placement on new work or modular layouts. Its 9-7/16 inch overall length suits medium to wider fronts where a longer pull is desired for hand access or visual balance. The 1-13/16 inch width allows the pull to sit along an edge with enough face coverage to read as a design element, which can complement slab fronts or clean-line doors. Because the pull is part of the Lips collection, it aligns stylistically with other Lips series pieces, which simplifies hardware coordination across kitchens, baths, or built-ins.

Details That Support Consistent Results

The 6-5/16 inch (160 mm) center to center dimension on this Lips edge pull allows installers to use fixed jigs or templates set to that spacing, which helps keep drilling repeatable on multiple fronts. The 13/16 inch projection defines how far the gripping surface stands off the cabinet, which influences clearance when doors open near side panels, appliances, or adjacent doors. The 1-13/16 inch width and 9-7/16 inch length together define the visible footprint, giving designers predictable proportions when aligning multiple pulls in horizontal or vertical runs. The zinc construction and polished chrome finish combination specifies both the substrate and surface, which aids in matching this pull with other polished chrome hardware specified for the same project line.
