Lips Edge Pull 224mm Polished Chrome Use

Lips edge pull 224mm polished chrome describes a pull from the Lips Collection with a 224 mm center to center drilling that works for cabinets planned around that hole spacing. The pull is made from zinc, which gives a solid metal body that suits regular cabinet use in kitchens, baths, or shop-built casework. The polished chrome finish provides a bright, reflective surface that matches other polished chrome decorative hardware on doors and drawers. A projection of 13/16 inch sets the hand clearance from the cabinet face, so fingers can catch the pull edge without adding excessive depth that interferes with nearby fronts. The 1-13/16 inch width spreads the pull over more surface area on the door or drawer edge, which helps the piece read as a linear edge detail instead of a small point grip. A total length of 12-5/8 inch creates a long visual line across the front that works well on wider fronts.

Key Edge Pull Details For Cabinet Projects

• The pull belongs to the Lips Collection, so its profile and style match other Lips pieces, which helps keep a consistent look across multiple cabinets in the same room or bank.
• The material is zinc, giving a cast metal construction that supports everyday opening and closing of doors and drawers in residential or light commercial cabinetry.
• The polished chrome finish coordinates with other polished chrome hardware and fixtures, which simplifies finish selection when tying together hinges, faucets, and decorative details.
• The center to center dimension is 6-5/16 inch (224 mm), which is a common drilling size that aligns with standard boring jigs used for cabinet pulls.
• The pull length is 12-5/8 inch, giving a long gripping area that suits wider drawers or tall doors where a more substantial handle length is preferred.
• The width is 1-13/16 inch and projection is 13/16 inch, which sets the footprint and stand-off to balance finger clearance with a low-profile edge look.

Mounting Dimensions For Lips Edge Pull Fit

This Lips Series pull uses a 6-5/16 inch center to center layout, so holes bored at that spacing line up with the pull feet. The 12-5/8 inch overall length means the pull will extend beyond the drilling span at both ends, which affects where it sits along the door or drawer edge. The 13/16 inch projection sets how far the pull stands off the surface, which influences clearance when fronts open past adjacent walls or appliances. The 1-13/16 inch width defines how much face area the pull covers along the edge, helping plan reveal lines and spacing around neighboring hardware. With a polished chrome finish and zinc construction, the pull visually and physically fits into polished chrome hardware layouts on cabinets built for this style.

Details That Support Consistent Cabinet Layouts

The fixed 6-5/16 inch (224 mm) center to center dimension lets installers rely on standard boring patterns, which simplifies drilling and repeat layout across multiple fronts. The 13/16 inch projection keeps the pull close to the cabinet face, which helps where drawers and doors run in tight reveals yet still allows space to grab the pull comfortably. The 1-13/16 inch width gives a predictable footprint along the edge, so designers can balance its size against rail widths and neighboring hardware without crowding. The 12-5/8 inch overall length provides a long visual bar, which can be repeated along a bank of cabinets for a uniform, lined-up appearance.
