A Silver Drawer Member Set Built for Deep, Heavy-Duty Storage

This is the Grass Nova Pro Scala H186 drawer member set in Silver — a 12 inch (300mm) full-extension, soft-closing drawer member designed for deep storage drawers where capacity and a clean Silver finish both matter. The set includes the drawer members that form the running assembly for one Nova Pro Scala drawer at the H186 side height.

Key Features

• Full extension — the drawer travels completely out to the cabinet face, putting the entire contents within reach.
• 154 lb weight capacity — rated for heavily loaded drawers, from dense file storage to stacked cookware.
• Soft-close motion — an integrated damper slows and settles the drawer to a quiet close on every use.
• H186 side height, 7-5/16 inches — a tall profile suited to deep pot drawers, base cabinet storage, and organizational inserts that need side wall height.
• Silver finish — a mid-tone metallic that pairs well with light wood interiors and neutral laminates without the warmth of Champagne or the cool edge of Ice.
• Nova Pro Scala system compatibility — engineered for this platform; front fixings, rear connections, and accessories come from the Nova Pro Scala program.

Where the Silver Finish and H186 Height Work Together

The H186 side height is Nova Pro Scala's deepest standard profile — at 7-5/16 inches, it gives the drawer box substantial wall height for tall contents and makes space for Tavinea Optima interior organization components. Silver reads as a neutral mid-tone against maple, white, and gray laminates, sitting visually between the warmth of Champagne and the cooler cast of Metallic finishes. Shops specifying a drawer that needs to carry real weight — think heavy pot drawers, deep pantry pull-outs, or a file-conversion base cabinet — will find the 154 lb capacity and full extension combination well matched to those loads. The full-extension travel means nothing gets buried at the back of a deep 12 inch drawer.

Material and System Construction

Nova Pro Scala side profiles are formed steel with a double-walled construction that hides fasteners and presents a smooth face on both the interior and exterior of the drawer box. The Silver finish is applied to the steel profile and coordinates with Nova Pro Scala's component finishes in this color. The integrated soft-close damper is built into the runner — no separate add-on is required. Because Nova Pro Scala is an engineered system, locking devices, front fixing brackets, rear brackets, and any Tavinea Optima interior dividers must come from the Nova Pro Scala program in the matching finish and side height. Cross-system or cross-series substitutions will not seat correctly.

Who Orders the H186 in Silver

Cabinet shops building kitchen bases with deep pot drawers reach for the H186 height when the design calls for a drawer tall enough to carry lids upright or accommodate a stacked insert. The Silver finish is common in specifications that mix light-toned hardware with neutral or light-wood interiors — it does not compete with the cabinet front color the way a warmer or cooler finish might. Designers converting a base cabinet to file storage will also find the 154 lb capacity credible for a loaded lateral file. At 12 inches, this nominal length suits shallower base cabinets and island drawers where a longer run would exceed the cabinet depth.

The Right Member for a Silver-Finished, High-Capacity Nova Pro Scala Drawer

The H186 drawer member in Silver brings together a tall profile, a 154 lb capacity, and a finish that reads cleanly in light or neutral interiors — a focused combination for deep storage drawers that need both strength and a coordinated look.
