A Silver Drawer Member Set Built for Demanding Kitchens and Heavy Pulls

This is the Grass Nova Pro Scala H186 drawer member set in Silver, a 24 inch full-extension, soft-closing drawer system component rated at 154 lb. It supplies the drawer members for one drawer in a Nova Pro Scala build, pairing with the matching cabinet members to form a complete running pair.

Key Features

• Silver finish coordinates with contemporary hardware palettes and works naturally inside lighter painted or lacquered cabinet interiors.
• Full extension brings the entire drawer out to the cabinet face for unobstructed access to the full depth of the box.
• Soft-close motion technology catches the drawer on the way in and settles it silently without a slam.
• 154 lb weight capacity handles dense pot-and-pan loads, file contents, and heavily stocked pantry drawers.
• H186 side height (7-5/16 inch) provides a tall profile suited to deep storage and pull-out applications that need real wall height.
• 24 inch nominal length fits standard 24 inch cabinet depth runs on the Nova Pro Scala 600mm platform.

Where This Drawer Member Set Earns Its Place

The H186 height is the tallest side in the Nova Pro Scala lineup, and the Silver finish opens up pairing options that the warmer tones in the family do not. Think of a clean, modern kitchen with light gray or white cabinet interiors — a Silver drawer member disappears into the box rather than competing with the decor. At 24 inches nominal length, this member set is at home in base cabinets running a full 24 inch depth, which is where the 154 lb capacity matters most: pots, cast iron, stacked dishes, and heavy pantry goods all land in that depth range.

The full-extension travel means a cook reaching for something in the back of a deep base cabinet gets the entire drawer, not a partially obstructed view. In a shop or utility cabinet, the same geometry lets workers load the full depth without fishing for parts at the rear. The integrated soft-close mechanism brings the drawer home quietly — important in open-plan kitchens and shared work environments where a slamming drawer registers every time.

Construction and System Fit

Nova Pro Scala is Grass's full double-walled metal drawer system. The drawer member set is the drawer-side half of the running pair; it mounts to the drawer box and rides on the cabinet members installed in the cabinet. Both members must share the same nominal length and height code for the system to assemble correctly — do not mix H186 drawer members with a different height cabinet member. Accessories such as Tavinea Optima divider rails, front fixing brackets, and gallery railing are Nova Pro Scala-specific and are not interchangeable with other Grass platforms or competing brands.

The Silver finish on this member set coordinates with the Nova Pro Scala Silver cabinet members and Silver front fixings. If the rest of your build uses a different Nova Pro Scala finish, the drawer member finish should match — mismatched finishes within one drawer are visible once the front is pulled open.

Right for High-Volume Shops and Detail-Minded Designers

Cabinet shops specifying Nova Pro Scala across an entire kitchen project benefit from a consistent Silver finish that reads the same from box to box. Designers working on contemporary or transitional interiors find Silver the most neutral of the Nova Pro Scala finishes — it neither reads as warm nor as stark cool, which keeps it flexible across countertop and hardware pairings. Homeowners replacing a worn-out drawer runner in an existing Nova Pro Scala installation can match the original Silver finish directly rather than substituting a different color that will stand out inside the cabinet.

Silver That Works Across the Build

When the cabinet interior is light and the hardware is contemporary, Silver is the finish that holds the drawer system together without drawing attention to itself — letting the joinery, the front, and the fittings carry the design while the runner does its job quietly and at full pull every time.
