This 16 inch LEGRABOX M height complete drawer system from Blum delivers full-extension access and integrated BLUMOTION soft-close in a double-walled steel profile finished in Orion Gray Matte. It is sized for mid-depth kitchen drawers — utensil drawers, pantry pull-outs, and everyday storage — where a consistent gray interior finish ties the box to handle-less or integrated-front cabinetry.
The 16 inch nominal length and M height profile make this system a strong match for kitchen cabinetry where depth is moderate and side height needs to clear a cutlery insert or shallow organizer without crowding the drawer above. It works in base cabinets carrying spice pullouts, utensil drawers, and small-item storage near the cooktop. Cabinet shops specifying a coordinated gray interior throughout a kitchen run will find the Orion Gray Matte finish aligns with AMBIA-LINE organization accessories, letting the installed drawer box serve as the platform for a finished interior layout.
LEGRABOX sides are formed from double-walled steel, which eliminates visible fasteners on the inner face and gives the drawer a slim, architectural profile. The Orion Gray Matte finish runs consistently across the side profiles, coordinating with Blum's AMBIA-LINE organization inserts — flatware trays, cross dividers, and knife holders — which are offered in the same color to create a fitted look. The BLUMOTION mechanism is built into the runner rather than added on, so there is nothing to clip in or calibrate in the field. The system is engineered for both face-frame and frameless cabinet construction; face-frame installations require the appropriate rear mounting hardware, sold separately.
Production cabinet shops running Blum-specified kitchens will reach for this system when a mid-height drawer profile and a gray interior are both on the specification. Kitchen designers coordinating handle-less cabinetry will appreciate that the Orion Gray Matte color reads as a neutral that recedes behind the front panel rather than competing with it. Homeowners renovating and specifying Blum hardware for a long-term kitchen build get a 125 lb capacity system that performs well beyond what a standard Euro slide with a wood box delivers. This is not an economy solution — it is a platform purchase, and AMBIA-LINE accessories built for LEGRABOX extend what it can do inside the box.
A LEGRABOX complete system includes the double-walled side profiles with integrated runners, a steel back panel, and the BLUMOTION soft-close mechanism built in. You supply the front, the drawer bottom, and any interior organization. Front fixing brackets are system-specific and sold separately.
Yes. AMBIA-LINE organization accessories — including cutlery inserts, cross dividers, and knife holders — are offered in Orion Gray Matte to match the LEGRABOX interior. This is the color to specify when you want a fully coordinated gray drawer interior.
LEGRABOX works in both face-frame and frameless cabinets, but face-frame installations require rear mounting brackets that are sold separately and specific to the LEGRABOX system. Do not substitute brackets from other Blum platforms.
LEGRABOX replaces the wood drawer sides entirely — the steel profiles are the sides. You cut the drawer bottom and back to the published cutting formula for this nominal length and side height. There is no separate wood side to specify.
Blum's TIP-ON BLUMOTION combined unit integrates push-to-open with the BLUMOTION soft-close damper in one mechanism. A plain mechanical push-to-open and soft-close do not work together on a standard unit — you need the combined TIP-ON BLUMOTION version, which is a separate SKU.
Specify the 16 inch LEGRABOX M height in Orion Gray Matte where the interior finish matters as much as the load rating, and build out the inside with AMBIA-LINE accessories designed to drop straight in.
