Omega National Omni Range Hood 48X42 R07A48Smb17Uf1

Rift White Oak Grain And a 48-Inch Fit for the Focal Wall

This Omega National Omni wall mount range hood is a 48-inch decorative wood shell in rift white oak, supplied ready-to-finish with a Broan-compatible liner included. It is the visible woodwork above the cooktop, not the ventilation unit itself.

Key Features

• Rift white oak species delivers a straight, consistent grain character that reads cleanly across a wide 48-inch face.
• 48 inches wide by 42 inches tall, sized for larger cooking runs and statement focal walls.
• Wall mount position installs against the wall above the cooktop in the standard hood location.
• Broan-compatible liner included so the shell arrives ready to accept a compatible Broan ventilation unit.
• Ready-to-finish construction so the hood can be stained or painted to coordinate with the surrounding cabinetry.
• Omni series design from Omega National, a wood hood line built for integration with kitchen cabinetry.

Why Rift White Oak at This Scale

At 48 inches wide, the hood face covers a lot of wall, and the wood grain across that span is a visible part of the design. Rift-sawn white oak produces a tighter, more vertical grain than flat-sawn material, which means the face stays consistent across the full width without the wide cathedral figures that can compete with the surrounding cabinet doors. For kitchens where the cabinetry is already in rift white oak or where the designer wants a quieter, linear grain on the focal wall, the match is direct. The 42-inch height gives the shell enough presence to read as an architectural element rather than an afterthought above the range.

Shell, Liner, and Finishing

The hood arrives unfinished, which is the right starting point when the goal is a true match to the rest of the kitchen. Stain, paint, or a clear finish can be applied after delivery so the hood reads as part of the cabinetry rather than a separate fixture. The Broan-compatible liner ships with the shell, so the structural interface between the wood enclosure and the ventilation unit is already accounted for. The ventilation unit itself, which is the blower and controls that actually move air, is selected separately to suit the cooktop and the duct run.

Where This Hood Belongs

This shell suits a larger kitchen, a pro-style or wider range, or any design where the hood is meant to anchor the cooking wall visually. Cabinet shops and designers specifying a custom kitchen in rift white oak will find the species match straightforward. Contractors installing over a 36- to 48-inch range who need a wall-mount shell with the liner already in the box can move to the finishing and ventilation steps without sourcing the liner separately. Homeowners renovating a kitchen with an existing Broan ventilator have a direct upgrade path to a wood hood exterior in a finish of their choosing.

Common Questions

Wood That Works With the Cabinetry, Not Against It

A 48-inch rift white oak shell at 42 inches tall gives a wide cooking wall a focal point that extends the cabinetry upward rather than interrupting it. Finish it on site, seat a Broan ventilator into the included liner, and the hood reads as part of the kitchen from the first day.
