Omega National 30 Inch Rift White Oak Omni Wall Mount Range Hood

30-Inch Wood Hood Shell That Brings Rift White Oak Above the Range

The Omega National Omni wall mount range hood is a decorative wood shell in rift white oak, sized at 30 inches wide by 42 inches tall, and supplied with a Broan-compatible liner included. It is the enclosure that frames the cooktop and takes a finish to match the surrounding cabinetry.

Key Features

• Rift white oak construction brings a tight, linear grain to the hood face for a clean, contemporary look.
• 30 inches wide by 42 inches tall in the Omni wall mount profile for standard kitchen runs.
• Ready-to-finish so it can be stained, painted, or clear-coated to coordinate with the cabinetry.
• Broan-compatible liner included so the installation pairing is defined from the start.
• Wall mount position installs against the wall above the cooktop in a traditional hood placement.

What Rift White Oak Brings to the Design

Rift-sawn white oak is cut at an angle to the growth rings, which produces a consistent, relatively straight grain with less ray fleck than flat-sawn material. On a range hood face, this means a calmer, more uniform surface that reads as intentional in both modern and transitional kitchens. If the surrounding cabinets are rift white oak, this shell matches the grain character and can be finished to the same specification. If the kitchen uses a contrasting species, the rift oak reads as a deliberate accent. The shell arrives unfinished, so the finishing sequence can happen on-site to match the rest of the millwork.

The Shell, the Liner, and What Moves the Air

This product is the decorative enclosure. It does not include a blower, filters, or lighting. What it does include is the Broan-compatible liner, which is the metal component that seats inside the wood shell and accepts the Broan ventilator. The ventilator itself is selected separately to match the cooktop output and the room's ventilation requirements. With the liner already included, the two remaining decisions are the Broan ventilator model and the finish for the wood. The shell is not prefinished, so it leaves the finishing entirely in the installer's hands.

Where This Hood Fits Best

This shell suits a kitchen where the cabinetry is specified in rift white oak or where a designer is choosing a complementary wood tone with consistent grain. At 30 inches wide, it fits a standard 30-inch cooktop run and works in kitchens where a 36-inch or wider hood would be disproportionate. Cabinet shops finishing their own millwork can finish this shell in the same pass as the cabinet doors. Designers specifying a full kitchen package can match species and grain character across the hood and the surrounding upper cabinets. Contractors sourcing for an install can confirm the liner-to-ventilator pairing with the Broan selection before the shell goes up.

Common Questions

The Right Shell for a Rift Oak Kitchen

When the design calls for a 30-inch hood with rift white oak grain and full control over the finish, this Omni shell with its included Broan-compatible liner is the starting point. Add the ventilator, finish the wood on-site, and the hood becomes part of the cabinetry.
