Omega National 30 Inch Maple Omni Wall Mount Range Hood

Omega National Omni Range Hood Shell For Maple Kitchen Cabinetry

The Omega National Omni is a 30-inch wide, wall-mount decorative wood range hood shell built in maple, supplied unfinished so it can be stained or painted to coordinate with the surrounding cabinetry. A Broan-compatible liner is included, making it ready to accept a separately sourced ventilation insert.

Key Features

• Maple wood construction accepts stain or paint so the hood matches the kitchen's finish scheme exactly.
• Omni series design in a 30-inch wide by 42-inch tall profile sized for standard wall-mount positions above a range or cooktop.
• Wall-mount configuration installs directly against the wall above the cooking surface.
• Broan-compatible liner included so the shell is ready to receive a compatible Broan ventilation insert, ordered separately.
• Unfinished maple shell ships ready-to-finish, giving the installer full control over the final stain, paint, or topcoat.

Built for the Kitchen, Finished by the Installer

The Omni shell is the woodwork above the range, not the ventilation equipment. It frames the cooking surface and carries the visual weight of the hood in the kitchen design. Because it ships unfinished, the shell can be matched precisely to the maple cabinetry already in the space rather than arriving in a fixed stain that may not align with the door style or finish batch. Shops and installers who are already finishing maple doors and drawers can treat this hood shell in the same operation, keeping the color and sheen consistent across the whole kitchen.

Maple Species and the Unfinished Advantage

Maple takes stain evenly and holds paint cleanly, which makes it a practical choice for a statement piece like a range hood where the finish will be visible from across the room. The Omni shell is supplied at the wood stage, without a factory stain or topcoat, so the grain and surface arrive consistent and ready for the finisher's chosen system. For kitchens where paint-grade work is the goal, maple's tight grain and smooth surface produce a crisp, professional result. For kitchens with a stained or natural finish, the wood can be conditioned and stained to complement the surrounding species.

Where This Shell Fits

This is the right choice for a kitchen renovation or new build where the range hood needs to read as part of the cabinetry rather than as a separate appliance. The 30-inch width suits a standard 30-inch range or cooktop, and the 42-inch height gives the hood presence on the wall without overwhelming a standard ceiling height. Cabinet shops finishing a full maple kitchen can build this shell into the scope of the finish work. Designers specifying a custom-look kitchen can specify this shell with a Broan ventilator to complete the hood system. Because the shell arrives unfinished, it is not a match for projects where the hood needs to ship already finished and ready to hang.

The Shell That Completes the Kitchen Design
