Omega National Red Oak Range Hood With Broan Liner

Omega National Wood Range Hood Shell For Red Oak Kitchen Cabinetry

The Omega National Omni is a wall-mount decorative wood range hood shell in red oak, designed to frame the cooktop and integrate with surrounding cabinetry while housing a compatible ventilation unit. A Broan-compatible liner is included so the enclosure is ready to accept the ventilator of your choice.

Key Features

• Red oak construction delivers open grain character that takes stain naturally and matches red oak cabinet runs.
• 30-inch width and 42-inch height sized for standard cooktop positions and typical ceiling clearances in wall-mount installations.
• Wall-mount design installs against the wall above the range, independent of adjacent upper cabinets.
• Broan-compatible liner included so the shell ships ready to accept a compatible Broan ventilator, ordered separately.
• Unfinished, ready-to-finish surface so stain, paint, or a custom topcoat can be applied to match the kitchen exactly.

The Decorative Enclosure, Not the Ventilator

This product is the wood shell that gives the hood its finished, cabinetry-grade appearance. It does not include a blower, and it has no CFM rating of its own. The Broan-compatible liner is included inside the shell, and a Broan ventilator selected to match the cooktop output is installed into that liner as a separate purchase. The result is a fully integrated hood that looks like built-in cabinetry rather than a standalone appliance.

Red Oak Construction and Finish Preparation

Red oak is known for its pronounced open grain and warm, reddish undertone, qualities that make it a natural pairing for kitchens already using red oak door styles and face frames. Because the shell ships unfinished, a finisher or cabinetmaker can stain it to match the cabinet batch precisely, apply a painted finish for contrast, or seal it with a clear topcoat to let the grain read naturally. Finishing on-site means color consistency is controlled in the shop, not at the factory.

Where This Hood Fits Best

This 30-inch shell suits a standard 30-inch range or cooktop on a wall, where the hood mounts directly to the wall surface rather than bridging between upper cabinets. It is the right choice for a kitchen designer or cabinetmaker building out a red oak or stainable wood kitchen who needs a hood enclosure that finishes as part of the cabinet package. Homeowners working with a cabinet shop to finish and install coordinated woodwork will also find this straightforward to specify: the species is fixed, the liner ships with the unit, and the ventilator is sized separately based on the cooktop.
