Omega National 36 Inch Maple Omni Wall Mount Range Hood

A 36-Inch Maple Wood Hood Shell Built for Broan Ventilation

This Omega National Omni series range hood is a decorative maple wood shell that mounts to the wall above a cooktop and accepts a compatible Broan ventilation unit. The Broan-compatible liner is included, so the shell and liner ship together ready for a ventilator to be fitted and finished on site.

Key Features

• Solid maple construction in the Omni style, offered ready-to-finish so stain, paint, or another approved finish can be applied on site.
• 36 inches wide by 42 inches tall, sized for a standard 36-inch cooktop run with height to reach a typical soffit or ceiling line.
• Wall-mount position installs against the wall above the range rather than in a soffit or island configuration.
• Broan-compatible liner included, the metal inner housing that accepts and positions the ventilator inside the wood shell.
• No blower or ventilator included: this is the decorative wood enclosure and liner, and the ventilation unit is selected and purchased separately.

What the Shell Does in the Kitchen

The Omni hood brings wood craftsmanship above the range at a scale that reads as built-in cabinetry. At 36 inches wide, it covers the full width of a standard 36-inch cooktop. The 42-inch height gives the hood presence on the wall and provides the vertical run needed to reach a ceiling or soffit without added filler. Because the shell is maple and is supplied ready-to-finish, it can be stained or painted after installation to coordinate exactly with the surrounding cabinet doors or trim, rather than arriving in a factory finish that may not match.

Wood Species and Finish Preparation

Maple is a close-grained hardwood that takes stain evenly and paints cleanly, which makes it a reliable choice when the goal is a consistent color match across cabinetry. The Omni series uses maple throughout the shell so the grain and density are uniform across faces and edges. Because the product ships unfinished, the kitchen finisher or installer applies the stain or paint as part of the project, giving the hood the same finish coat as the rest of the cabinets rather than a close-but-not-matching factory color.

Who Specifies This Hood

Cabinet shops and kitchen designers reach for this shell when the design calls for a wood hood that blends into a painted or stained maple kitchen rather than standing apart as a separate appliance. The included Broan-compatible liner removes one sourcing step: the liner and shell arrive together, and the installer pairs them with a Broan ventilator that suits the cooktop output. Homeowners renovating with a maple cabinet line find this shell a straightforward path to a finished-in-place look without fabricating a custom hood from scratch.

The Omega National Omni in maple gives a 36-inch wall hood installation a real-wood, finish-in-place result that reads as part of the cabinetry, with the Broan-compatible liner already in the box so the ventilator can drop straight in.
