Graphite Steel and a Perfect Platform Fit

The Vionaro H185 Drawer Side Profile in Graphite is an 18-inch steel side profile for Grass's Vionaro drawer system, designed to replace wood drawer sides with a slim, double-walled steel profile in a dark graphite finish. It is a structural component of the Vionaro platform and must be paired with compatible Vionaro runners, front fixings, and accessories.

Key Features

• H185 side height at 7-1/4 inches (185mm) — a tall profile that suits deep storage drawers, pot drawers, and pantry pull-outs without adding gallery railing.
• Steel construction with 1/2-inch profile thickness — a rigid, formed-steel side that carries load and defines the drawer box without a wood subframe.
• Graphite finish — a deep, dark tone that pairs with dark interior cabinetry, matte black hardware, and contemporary handleless kitchen designs.
• 18-inch nominal length — sized for shallower base cabinet runs and desk drawer applications where cabinet depth is limited.
• Vionaro system-matched — engineered to work with Vionaro runners, front fixings, and interior divider accessories specific to this platform.

Where This Profile Performs

An 18-inch H185 profile covers the applications where drawer depth is tight but storage height matters: shallow base cabinets in kitchen islands, office casework with limited run depth, and secondary storage drawers in bath vanities where the tall side height compensates for the shorter front-to-back dimension. The H185 height — 185mm, equivalent to 7-1/4 inches — gives the drawer interior genuine vertical capacity without requiring railing above the side. That makes it a practical choice for drawers holding folded linens, packaged goods, or deep cookware that needs height more than depth.

Finish and Material Details

The profile is formed steel finished in Graphite, a dark matte tone in the Vionaro color program. Graphite works naturally alongside matte black cabinet hardware and dark laminate or painted interiors, and it gives handle-less kitchen designs a cohesive look from the inside of the drawer outward. The 1/2-inch profile thickness keeps the side slim while the steel construction provides the rigidity the Vionaro platform is built around. As with all Vionaro finishes, the Graphite interior surfaces coordinate with Vionaro-specific divider accessories and front fixings in the same finish family — mixing finishes across the system is not recommended.

Who Specifies This Profile

Cabinet shops building contemporary handle-less kitchens will find the Graphite finish integrates cleanly with dark slab fronts and integrated pulls. Designers specifying deep-tone interiors use H185 profiles to carry the color scheme through the drawer box itself, not just the front. Contractors working on shallower vanity or island builds appreciate the 18-inch nominal length where a longer profile simply will not fit. This profile is a component, not a complete drawer set — plan for Vionaro runners, back panels, and front fixings to complete each drawer.

The Right Depth, the Right Tone

A Graphite Vionaro H185 profile at 18 inches brings a dark, cohesive finish and genuine drawer height to the builds where cabinet depth runs short — keeping the interior as considered as the front.
