The Vionaro H185 drawer side profile in Graphite is a 21 inch steel side profile from Grass America's Vionaro drawer system, designed to replace traditional wood drawer sides with a slim, double-walled steel wall that integrates the running gear and delivers a finished interior in a dark, neutral finish.
Graphite earns its place in projects where dark interiors are part of the design intent rather than an afterthought. In a two-tone kitchen with dark lower cabinets and light uppers, a graphite drawer interior reinforces the palette every time a drawer opens. It reads well behind frameless cabinet fronts in charcoal, matte black, or dark wood grain laminates, and holds its own alongside black or gunmetal cabinet pulls. The tall H185 height makes it the natural choice for pot and pan drawers, deep pantry pull-outs, or any application where the interior of the drawer is on full display and the finish needs to match the intention of the room. Shop environments building sample or display kitchens with a contemporary edge will find this profile an efficient way to specify a cohesive dark interior without custom painting or laminating wood sides.
Vionaro side profiles are formed steel, double-walled, presenting a smooth face on both the inside and outside of the drawer box. The steel construction carries the structural load that wood sides would otherwise bear, and the integration of the runner means there is no separate slide to mount on the cabinet wall for the drawer side. The Graphite finish is a factory-applied dark tone consistent across the Vionaro program, so profiles, backs, and gallery rails ordered in Graphite arrive in a matched color. This matters in exposed-interior or open-shelf applications where mismatched drawer components are visible. The 1/2 inch profile thickness keeps the drawer interior wide relative to the cabinet opening, recovering usable space compared to thicker wood sides.
Cabinet shops specifying contemporary kitchens reach for the Vionaro H185 Graphite when the design calls for a dark interior and a tall drawer side in one component. Designers sourcing hardware for frameless European-style cabinetry use it to carry a dark palette through the interior detail. Contractors and installers who build out dark-finish kitchen projects benefit from the system's engineered fit — each component in the Vionaro line is sized and finished to work together, reducing field adjustments. The 21 inch nominal length suits the mid-depth base cabinets that make up the majority of kitchen drawer runs, making this a workhorse profile for production and custom shops alike.
The sold-as unit for this SKU is not explicitly stated in the source data. Verify the unit — single profile or pair — before ordering to ensure you receive what you need for a complete drawer.
A working Vionaro drawer requires matching runners, front fixing brackets, and a back panel, all in the same nominal length and side height. Gallery rails, cover caps, and divider systems are optional additions. All components must come from the Vionaro platform — parts from other drawer systems do not interchange.
No. Vionaro side profiles are engineered for the Vionaro runner system. Dynapro and Nova Pro Scala are separate Grass platforms with their own side components; mixing platforms will result in parts that do not fit together.
AMBIA-LINE is matched to Blum LEGRABOX drawers, and ORGA-LINE is matched to Blum TANDEMBOX — neither is designed for Vionaro. For Vionaro interior organization, use Grass's Tavinea Optima divider rail system, which is developed for Nova Pro Scala and compatible Grass platforms. Confirm Tavinea Optima fit against your Vionaro configuration before ordering.
Graphite is a standard finish option across the Vionaro program. When all components — side profiles, backs, and rails — are ordered in Graphite, they arrive in a consistent factory-matched color.
The Vionaro H185 in Graphite gives cabinet shops and designers a tall, dark-finish steel drawer side that completes a contemporary interior without additional finishing steps — specify it where the design calls for depth, height, and a cohesive dark palette through to the back of the drawer.
