Standard concealed hinges are engineered for a flat 90-degree cabinet face. On a bay cabinet or diagonal corner unit, the face is angled outward, and a standard hinge will not let the door sit correctly or swing clear. This hinge is built to the +45-degree cabinet angle, so the arm geometry positions the door flush on the angled face and swings it open without fouling the adjacent cabinet or the frame.
The 35mm cup bores into the back of the door in the standard position, and the press-in dowels seat it without cup screws. The hinge arm then connects to a Salice base plate mounted to the cabinet interior. That plate is a separate purchase, sized to your cabinet construction.
