Patwin 601 White T-Molding, 250' L x 13/16" W - 7/64" Kerf - P500-13/16-601

601 White Tee Molding For Clean Edges

601 white tee molding from Patwin Plastics is a non-toxic polyethylene Flexene molding designed for edging work where a 13/16 in wide profile and 7/64 in kerf are required. The 13/16 in width covers common board edges while giving a consistent band that visually finishes the panel. The 7/64 in kerf dimension lets you match your groove cutting setup so the stem seats securely in the slot. The Flexene polyethylene construction lets this tee molding fit any contour, whether outside or inside curves and radii, so a single profile handles straight runs and curved sections. The product is consistently precise in dimensions, workability, and color, helping repeated installations line up and look uniform across multiple panels. Design details insure the installation will fit firmly and hug edges permanently, so once pressed into the groove the molding stays tight along the full run.

Key Tee Molding Details That Support Workflows

• The non-toxic polyethylene used in this Flexene molding provides an edge band material suited to woodworking environments, so it can be worked, trimmed, and handled during fabrication without changing normal shop routines.
• The ability to fit any contour, whether outside or inside curves and radii, lets one tee molding profile handle curved and straight edges, simplifying material planning and reducing profile changes during layout.
• Product precision in dimensions, workability, and color keeps grooves, presses, and trimming steps repeatable, which supports consistent joints and visual alignment across multiple panels in a run.
• The design that insures the installation will fit firmly and hug edges permanently gives a tight mechanical hold in the 7/64 in kerf, reducing edge gaps along the length of counters, fixtures, or panels.
• 250 ft rolls provide long continuous runs of P500-13/16-601, which supports extended installations where minimizing splices along the edge is important for appearance and efficiency.

Mounting This White T-Moulding To Grooved Edges

This white T-moulding is sized for a 7/64 in kerf, so the groove must match that width for the stem to lock properly. The 13/16 in overall width then caps the edge once the stem is pressed into the slot. Because the Flexene polyethylene construction fits any contour, this molding follows both outside and inside curves and radii when the substrate is grooved along the path. The consistently precise dimensions support predictable seating depth from one panel to the next. As the design insures the installation will fit firmly and hug edges permanently, once the stem is pressed into the 7/64 in slot the barbs engage the sides, keeping the molding tight against the edge line.

Using P500-13/16-601 Tee Molding In Projects

Where This Patwin Plastics Tee Molding Works

This Patwin Plastics, Inc. tee molding sits in the Edgebanding and Surfacing Tee Moldings class, so it is suited to projects where exposed board edges need a capped profile. The 13/16 in width spans typical panel thicknesses, so one pass covers the edge and provides a uniform band. Because the non-toxic polyethylene Flexene material fits any contour whether outside or inside curves and radii, it supports counters, fixtures, and casework that transition from straight sections into arcs. The precise dimensions and color consistency help when multiple panels sit side by side, as the edges present a continuous line. In applications calling for a white edging, the 601 white tee molding ties finished faces and edges together visually.

Why These Flexene Details Support Consistent Results

The P500-13/16-601 part number identifies this specific 601 white tee molding profile, which helps align tooling setups around the 7/64 in kerf and 13/16 in width. Consistently precise dimensions mean once the groove width and depth are dialed in, the molding seats the same way across repeated cuts. This supports efficient production when many panels share the same edge detail. The product workability lets installers and fabricators handle trimming and seating tasks using normal shop methods, supporting a steady workflow. Because the design insures the installation will fit firmly and hug edges permanently, the stem presses into the groove and holds, helping reduce callbacks related to loose edging. As a non-toxic polyethylene Flexene molding, it integrates into woodworking environments where materials are handled regularly during fabrication, transport, and installation without changing working practices around the edged components.

Common Questions About 601 White Tee Molding

Selecting This 601 White T-Moulding For Edges

The 601 white tee molding from Patwin Plastics provides a 13/16 in wide Flexene polyethylene cap sized for a 7/64 in kerf, so it pairs with a matching groove setup. Its ability to fit any contour, whether outside or inside curves and radii, keeps straight and curved work on the same profile. Consistently precise dimensions, workability, and color, combined with a design that insures the installation will fit firmly and hug edges permanently, support repeatable edging results across projects. For runs that benefit from long lengths, the 250 ft roll format backs extended edge applications.
