Omega National 36 Inch Maple Verona Wall Mount Range Hood

Maple Craftsmanship and Broan-Ready Fit in One Shell

The Omega National Verona is a 36-inch wide decorative maple wood range hood shell designed for wall-mount installation above a cooktop. It ships with a liner sized to accept a compatible Broan ventilation insert, so the decorative and mechanical sides of the hood come together in a single order.

Key Features

• Maple wood construction brings a tight, consistent grain that takes stain or paint cleanly for a finished look that matches the surrounding cabinetry.
• Verona series styling delivers a traditional wall-hood profile suited to framed kitchen designs with classic door styles.
• 36 inches wide by 36 inches tall fits a standard range or cooktop run and fills the wall space between upper cabinets confidently.
• Liner included and sized for Broan ventilation, so the compatible insert drops in without sourcing a separate liner.
• Ready-to-finish maple arrives unfinished so stain, paint, or a clear coat can be applied on-site to match the kitchen exactly.
• Wall-mount position installs against the wall above the range, independent of upper cabinet attachment.

Where the Verona Fits in the Kitchen

This shell is the visible woodwork above the cooktop, not the fan. It defines the look of the hood run and sets the design tone for that wall. The Verona's traditional profile pairs naturally with raised-panel door styles, crown molding, and inset or face-frame cabinet construction. At 36 inches wide, it covers a standard range without crowding the upper cabinet space on either side, and the 19-inch depth gives the hood a substantial presence without projecting beyond the countertop line.

Because the shell arrives unfinished, it can be matched precisely to the cabinet finish in the shop before installation, whether that means a stained maple to coordinate with natural wood cabinetry or a painted finish to anchor a two-tone kitchen.

Species, Construction, and the Included Liner

Maple is a practical choice for a painted or stained kitchen finish. Its fine, even grain resists blotching under stain and provides a smooth substrate for paint, making it easier to achieve a consistent, professional result. The Verona shell is constructed from maple and arrives ready for the finisher to work with.

The liner that ships with this SKU is matched to Broan ventilation inserts. It provides the metal housing that the ventilator mounts into inside the wood shell, protecting the wood interior and giving the mechanical components a secure seat. The ventilation insert itself is a separate purchase, selected to suit the cooktop output and the kitchen's duct configuration.

Who Reaches for This Hood

Cabinet shops finishing a traditional kitchen specify this shell when the design calls for a wood hood that reads as part of the cabinetry rather than an appliance. Designers appreciate the Verona's classic proportions when coordinating a full-room package. Contractors installing a complete kitchen package reach for it when the ventilation insert is already specified as Broan and a liner is needed in the same order. Homeowners renovating a kitchen with existing maple cabinetry find it the straightforward path to a hood that matches the wood already on the walls.
