Omega National 36 Inch Verona Range Hood R7301S36SMB1OUF1

Red Oak Character And Broan-Ready Fit

The Omega National Verona is a 36-inch wide, wall-mount decorative wood range hood shell built from red oak and designed to work with a Broan-compatible liner that ships in the box. It is the visible woodwork above the cooktop, supplied ready to finish so it can be stained or painted to coordinate with the surrounding cabinetry.

Key Features

• Red oak construction brings natural grain character that stains or paints to suit the kitchen design.
• 36 inches wide by 36 inches tall at a 19-inch depth for a substantial wall-mount presence above the range.
• Broan-compatible liner included so the shell arrives ready to accept a compatible Broan ventilation unit.
• Wall-mount configuration positions the hood against the wall above the cooktop.
• Ready-to-finish surface accepts stain, paint, or a custom topcoat applied on site.
• Verona series styling from Omega National, designed to integrate with kitchen cabinetry as a finished focal point.

What the Verona Shell Brings to the Kitchen

Red oak is a familiar species in residential cabinetry, and its open grain takes stain in a way that gives depth and variation across the surface. On a hood this size, that grain reads as texture and warmth rather than a flat panel. The Verona's 36-inch width suits a standard 36-inch range or cooktop run, and its 36-inch height gives the hood the vertical scale to anchor the wall above the range without feeling undersized. The 19-inch depth keeps the profile within typical kitchen clearances for a wall-mount installation.

Because the shell arrives unfinished, the stain or paint is applied after delivery and before install, which means the hood color can be matched precisely to the cabinet finish already in the room rather than selected from a fixed factory palette.

Shell, Liner, and What Comes Next

This product is the decorative wood enclosure and the included Broan-compatible liner. The liner is the metal housing that sits inside the wood shell and accepts the ventilation unit. The ventilator itself, the blower that actually moves air over the cooktop, is a separate purchase and is selected to match the cooktop output and the room's ductwork. Once the ventilator is seated in the liner and the shell is finished and mounted, the assembly reads as a single built-in hood. For kitchens where the cooktop specification is already set, the ventilator can be chosen alongside this shell and ordered at the same time so the two arrive ready to install together.

Where This Hood Fits Best

The Verona suits a kitchen design that calls for a wood hood with visible grain, whether the finish direction is a medium walnut stain over the red oak, a painted finish that hides the species, or a lighter wash that lets the grain come through. Cabinet shops finishing the hood on the bench alongside door and drawer fronts will find the ready-to-finish surface straightforward to work with. Designers specifying a traditional or transitional kitchen with wood cabinetry will find the 36-inch Verona scaled appropriately for a standard range wall. Contractors coordinating the hood install with the ventilator rough-in can confirm Broan ventilator compatibility before the countertop and backsplash go in.
