Verona Range Hood Broan Liner 42X36 By Omega

42-Inch Wall Hood For Kitchens Centered on Rift White Oak

This Omega National Verona wall mount range hood is a 42-inch decorative wood shell finished in rift white oak, designed to anchor the wall above the cooktop and carry the oak grain from the surrounding cabinetry up through the hood. It comes with a Broan compatible liner included, ready to receive a compatible Broan ventilation unit ordered separately.

Key Features

• Rift white oak construction delivers the tight, straight grain pattern that makes this species a natural pairing with contemporary and transitional cabinet styles.
• 42-inch width and 36-inch height suit wider cooktop runs and tall wall installations where a standard-sized hood would look undersized.
• Wall mount position mounts directly against the wall above the range rather than to surrounding cabinetry.
• Broan compatible liner included so the ventilation interface is already part of the assembly, paired with a compatible Broan ventilator ordered separately.
• Not prefinished, so the wood is ready to accept stain or a custom finish that matches the rest of the kitchen exactly.
• Omega National Verona series offers a consistent design language across widths for designers specifying a coordinated hood and cabinet package.

Wide Coverage Over a Larger Cooktop or Range

At 42 inches wide, this hood covers a professional-style range or a wider residential cooktop run where a 30- or 36-inch shell would leave the burners exposed on either side. The 36-inch height gives the installation the visual weight a large range demands, keeping the proportions in balance with wide upper cabinets or a tall ceiling. The 19-inch depth fits standard wall installations without projecting into the kitchen beyond the range.

Rift White Oak: Species, Grain, and Finishing

Rift white oak is selected for its linear grain, which runs vertically with minimal fleck compared to quartersawn or flat-sawn oak. That consistency makes it easier to match across cabinet doors, drawer fronts, and a hood shell without chasing grain variation. Because the shell ships unfinished, the stain or topcoat is applied on-site to match the exact batch of cabinets being installed. Rift white oak accepts a wide range of stain colors, from pale natural tones to deep charcoals, and the tight grain holds them evenly.

Who Specifies This Hood and Where It Fits

This shell is the right call for a kitchen designer or cabinet shop building a contemporary or transitional kitchen around rift white oak, where the hood needs to read as a continuation of the cabinetry rather than a separate stainless appliance. It is equally useful for a contractor sourcing a coordinated hood shell for a client who has already committed to white oak throughout. Because it mounts to the wall rather than attaching to flanking cabinets, it works in kitchen layouts where the space on either side of the hood is open or carries a different element such as a pot filler or open shelving. The ventilation unit itself is a separate selection: match the Broan ventilator model to the cooktop output and room requirements before ordering.
