Omega National 48 Inch Maple Verona Wall Mount Range Hood

48-Inch Maple Width and a Broan-Ready Liner, Built In

The Omega National Verona is a wall-mount decorative wood range hood shell in maple, sized at 48 inches wide by 36 inches tall and supplied with a Broan-compatible liner so the two key components arrive together.

Key Features

• 48-inch width and 36-inch height makes this one of the wider Verona configurations, suited to larger cooking spans and broader kitchen walls.
• Maple species construction takes stain or paint to match surrounding cabinetry and provides a consistent, close-grained surface for finishing.
• Broan-compatible liner included so the shell and its ventilation housing ship as a unit and are confirmed to work together.
• Wall-mount position installs against the wall above the range, anchoring the hood to the wall structure rather than to adjacent cabinets.
• 19-inch depth provides sufficient projection over the cooking surface at this width.
• Unfinished, ready-to-finish surface allows the installer or finisher to apply the stain or paint color that matches the kitchen after delivery.

Covering a Wider Cooktop in Wood

At 48 inches wide, this shell is built for kitchens where the range or cooktop runs wide, or where the design calls for a hood that commands the wall above a professional-style range. The Verona profile is a wall-mount design, meaning it draws its structural support from the wall rather than from the cabinetry flanking it, which gives more flexibility in layouts where adjacent upper cabinets are absent or set back. The 36-inch height adds visual presence and allows the finished hood to read as a substantial architectural feature rather than a trim piece.

Maple Surface, Ready for Your Finish

Maple is a stable, tight-grained hardwood that accepts stain evenly and holds paint cleanly, which is why it is a common choice when the surrounding cabinets are also maple or when a painted finish needs a smooth substrate. This shell arrives unfinished, so the finish is applied on-site after installation, letting the finisher match the exact stain tone or paint color of the kitchen. Because the surface is not prefinished at the factory, the result integrates with the cabinetry rather than standing apart from it.

Where This Hood Fits Best

This configuration suits a kitchen with a 36-inch or wider professional-style range, a six-burner cooktop, or a layout where a wider hood is specified for proportion. Cabinet shops building or installing a custom kitchen around a large range will find the 48-inch shell covers the span cleanly. Designers specifying a hood that disappears into a painted or stained maple kitchen can match the finish on-site. Because this is a decorative wood shell, the ventilation unit that moves air is selected separately: the included liner is Broan-compatible, so the Broan ventilator is chosen to suit the cooktop output and the kitchen's duct or ductless configuration.
