Omega National 48 Inch Cherry Verona Wall Hood

Omega National Verona Range Hood For Wide Cherry Kitchen Installations

The Omega National Verona is a 48-inch-wide decorative wood range hood shell in cherry, designed for wall-mount installations where the hood needs to anchor a broad run of cabinetry. It ships with a Broan-compatible liner included so the enclosure is ready to accept a compatible ventilator once the finish work is done.

Key Features

• 48-inch width and 36-inch height suit wide cooktop runs and taller wall configurations.
• Cherry wood construction brings a warm, naturally grained species to the kitchen focal point.
• Verona series design delivers a traditional wall-hood profile that pairs with raised-panel and classic cabinet styles.
• Wall-mount position installs against the wall above the cooktop, supported by adjacent cabinetry.
• Broan-compatible liner included so the shell is ready to receive a compatible ventilation unit without a separate liner purchase.
• Ready-to-finish cherry allows the hood to be stained or painted to match the surrounding cabinetry after installation.

The Right Shell for a Wide, Statement Kitchen Wall

A 48-inch hood shell reads very differently from a 30-inch or 36-inch unit. At this width it spans a full professional-style or dual-burner range, and the cherry grain becomes a real presence on the wall rather than a small accent. The Verona's traditional silhouette works with kitchens built around raised-panel doors, furniture-style details, and warm wood tones. Because the shell is the woodwork and not the ventilation equipment, it gives the designer full control over the finished appearance: stain it to match the cherry cabinets, paint it for contrast, or let the natural grain lead. The ventilator that moves the air is chosen separately and fits into the included liner.

Cherry Construction and Finishing

Cherry is specified here because the species earns its place in traditional and transitional kitchens: it has a fine, consistent grain, takes stain evenly, and deepens in color over time with light exposure. The shell arrives ready-to-finish, meaning no factory color has been applied, and the surface is prepared for the finisher to work with. That flexibility matters on a 48-inch piece, where matching the door species and stain across a long run of cabinetry is the goal. At 19 inches of depth, the hood body has the presence to read as furniture rather than a builder-grade addition.

Who This Shell Is Built For

Cabinet shops finishing a high-end traditional kitchen with a wide range as the centerpiece will find this shell addresses the gap between a standard production hood and a fully custom built-in. Designers specifying cherry kitchens with professional-style ranges can call this shell out by series and size knowing the liner for Broan ventilation is already part of the package. Installers working a complete kitchen remodel can hang the shell, bring in the compatible ventilator separately, and hand the finishing to the painter or finisher without sourcing a custom liner independently. This is not a ventilation unit, and it does not move air on its own. The ventilator that fits the liner is selected based on cooktop output and room requirements, ordered separately.
